Root [THEME] Holiday Theme

snap20101203_200708.png

My new Christmas wallpaper. I think it goes well. Here's the link to the wallpaper: Christmas Wallpapers - Android app on AppBrain

I upgraded to 2.2.1. I am on Fab's Revolution and Apex. Will this work do you think? I loved the holiday theme but can't use it on 2.2.1.

Thanks!
man....i dont know....i really dont know.
due to the music part in the change log;
"Reboot problem fixed
Email app updated, email app in 2.1 caused problems for some users.
Music app is now Moto default Music app. "

(i know there was music themeing in the app folder of the theme)

(change log is 2.2.1 to 2.2.2) id have to guess about 50/50 chance of it working.
(and this port makes me nervous anyway....lol....:))
still waiting to hear back from anyone.
id do it on 2.2.2 if your gonna do it....but on that note, if you do do it on 2.2.1....let us know how it goes....

id try it for kicks but im already on 2.2.2

Sorry, The numbers are confusing the situation. I am on android 2.2.1 not fission 2.2.1. I've upgraded to sbf 2.3.32. I had holiday working on 2.3.15. Heck, I may try it anyway.

oh....if you're not running fission you'll catch a ton of force closes most likely....probably like 90% likely to give you trouble....

if you run it let me know how it goes....:)

I'm running it now, working pretty good. I made some tweaks of my own.

I also noticed that the "Clear" button color on the drop down status bar needs to be white......currently it's black and hard to see over the black background of the button.

This theme works fine on 2.3.32 I have installed it on top of Apex 1.2.1

Anyone install this (or one of the ported versions) on OTA 340?

Just deodexed and need to cheer up the wife.

When Momma's unhappy, everyone's unhappy.... (nothing I did.) :D

EDIT: Works with 340.

Using Root Explorer, go to /data/local and delete the bootanimation.zip file.

... and copy a new one there, like the Droid Pro animation?

How do I go back to the default boot logo. The theme was nice and all but I missed my black status bar.

The boot logo is different than the boot animation. You need to get the zip file of the stock (or whatever you want) and install it through recovery. There are a lot of logos in this thread including stock, you can also request a custom one.

Does anyone know where I can get the wallpaper shown in the screenshots? It has a stocking on it I believe. Just installed the Fission 2.3.1 version of this Theme!
