A theme doesnt affect service, previous installed apps or how it connects to the computer. It definitely doesn't affect recovery. I've flashed and tested this multiple times today and it works just fine. Sounds like something else is at work.

If you are having problems, it's something YOU are doing.

hes just tethering on metro's network i know his real account on here he was on this morning around 10 am and then made a few names to troll on the 16 year old needs a new hobby.

im not saying it was the theme cause it said successful and it rebooted fine and i can see it but maybe someone has some suggestions on how i can fix it? im not sure what i could have done wrong i followed the instructions and did the same thing as always.... my only thoughts right now are to TRY and change the usb connection to internet so i can downgrade to zvb and then update again but if theres another way i would love to try it =]
 
Have you tried holding the power button till a menu pops up with different options? I know one option will say "Recovery". And that's the only way I know of on how to flash a rom is via recovery.

holding only the power button? i get a flash of the lg sign and then blackness

What he said and when the phone turns on let go of the power button but still keep holding the volume rockers until a black screen with words comes you asking if you would like to wipe phone. Press the power button 3x and you should be in recovery.
 
i tried again a couple more times and it turns out the volume down button was stuck! i never use the volume buttons so i couldnt tell lol
well i felt it go down all the way this time and it booted into cwm thanks you guys!
