Root [THEME] MS910 LD-ICSK v2.4 {ZVD} [ICS Hybrid]

If I were to take the systemUI.apk from kane's 1.2 and put it on my phone while running this rom would that work for changing the text color in the status bar or is that not a good idea?

Edit: Or just taking the status_bar.xml from kane's and putting them in the systemui.apk for this rom and then putting that on my phone would that work and be better?

thats how I'm doing it using ld -ics v 1.1 but using kaneof mars theme to get thu blue time in try also to learn how to do it a different color I want make a black and yellow theme

This is what im using as a case for my Lg esteem extended battery is a Seidio case for the HTC 3d, I had to cut it in some places but it fits and protects!

Ive been using it for months!!! hope this helps!

Dang! That looks pretty sharp actually! And what's wrong with your english!? LoL you use English better than some people use punctuation on here, having me read through every line 2-3 times HaHa.
 
If ya'll type [HIDE.] and [/HIDE.] Without the .'s and post the image link in between it'll hide the pics so the thread doesn't get so stretched out. :)

Okay so when I go to Accounts & sync settings and try to add my FB account I click Add account>Facebook then it just goes back to the Accounts & sync screen. If I press Social+ settings on the same page it does a reboot.. Very annoying someone help please.
 
Within the Facebook app, choose your sync settings.
Social + reboots the phone because it was removed. Unfortunately neither PG or mt were able to take it out of the settings.

I use apk multi-tool to decompile the apk, then use Notepad ++ to edit the xml files, then use apk multi-tool to recompile the apk

extracting the xml would probably be the best way to do it

I was just reading that there may be a smali edit needed to change the status bar txt color???
I usually do this part with UOT Kitchen, never tried it manually :P
 
If you do end up changing the clocks color, could you make a separate dl link for us people who would like it to stay white? :P

and also, ive been having fc's with the calendar app when i try to add an event.
known issue?

and is there any way to change the background of the power control widgets to black instead of blue?

anyways, nice theme. i like how minimal and black, white and cyan it is.

Man i like the way this looks, but I'm going back to Ginger Extreme rom. this thing has some kinda battery leak. believe me i tweak my battery but for some reason battery life not working with this. especially every time it reboots i'll lost a huge amount % off my battery if it's just a theme flash then I'd get back on this till then i'll wait for cm9

yes the update to google search is set up a lil more complex then the themed one i have lol ill try to theme the update but for now just let it install, then open it in market and choose uninstall. that will uninstall the update giving you your themed version back :D

I don't know about anyone else, but when I try to access the calander, it gives a FC error every time. lol
 
ok so i have realized that i am now in a self confliction witht this rom... lol it's an ics rom/theme but i have strayed way far from the 'actual' ics look with all the extra theming... lol so im wondering what you all would like more? keep it ics looking? or do more themeing for better apearance? or do both? lol

welllll anyways.... here's the first test for LDK-ICK lol

-much ui tweaking (too much to remember)
-fixed calander
-fixed gtalk
-fixed reboot, recovery icons in power menu
-im sure there's more but i forget.. it's just a test anyway dammit!! lol

eventually this will be made into just a theme to flash on top of gse but it will take some time & testing!! with much wiping and re testing involved lol

but for now it's just a taste of whats to come..
