I like to use Go Launcher EX.

This ROM has an awesome launcher as well, though. The Ice Cream Sandwich one, i believe. (Yea, im a noob.)

What i want to know is

1.) Does installing 2 apps that do the same thing, such as both of these launchers, increase the chance of running in to issues or conflicts?

I've had Launcher EX do some weird stuff when using Gingersteem by PG (although i know these 2 are basically the same.) Such as not saving my pref to use Go launcher as default, Items disappearing from the list of apps at the very bottom of home page and a couple others i cant remember.

2.) i've purchased ROM Toolbox... Should i freeze the one that comes with the ROM and only use the ROM Toolbox i purchased?

2.) Forget about the features, which Launcher is the best when considering stability?

well for the rom toolbox I uninstalled it and use rom toolbox pro and for launchers 360 launcher is good and stable

how do you uninstall the rom toolbox? it wont allow me to so i have to freeze it ...

Ill try out 360 and see how that is. i like the ICS launcher, just not sure how stable it is.

the only way to uninstall rom toolbox is from root explore system/ app long press on the app its gonna give u a couple of options just del. also 360 has a ice cream theme

before u can del. make sure u have it on r/o its gonna b on ur left hand corner
 
crap... ok guys sorry for all those lil issues lol, i forget where i got the 4glte icons but apparently they dont work... i cant test it because i dont have a plan lol but i will work on that and whatever else needs fixin! i had a few drinks tonite so i wont be getting to it now, but tomoro should be an update:D
 
Not sure if the battery drain issue has been resolved but i used to get great battery life on stock/rooted (around 13hrs), and after i flashed Gingersteem Extreme and ICK battery life has gone down about 50%.
So the issue may not just be this theme.

PS: if the issue has in fact been resolved let us know. contemplating a return to stock =P

oh shit drink one for me haha ,I was able to changed my 4g with rom toolbox and no problems
 
is there a bug regarding the facebook integration of the profiles? Even though im on my acct sign in it won't let me join my phone contacts with my FB ones so it can show there pictures and information etc..

Also another bug i found out is that when you goto a contact and goto edit contact then hit the menu button and goto "join" if you press the back button it changes to a random contact not the one you were originally looking at..can someone else confirm this?
 
You should take the ics launcher free version and tweek it cause it sucks it force closes on every reset and plus its abandoned by the developer (just a thought)
 
not bitching or anything like that.. just feedback.. dont take this the wrong way.. flashed it last night.. only thing ive added was yahoo, setcpu and titbu (to freeze facebook.. or anything else hi in ram usage) 5 and a half hours.. with VERY minimal use... in the ROMs defense i didnt put on 2x battery and it keeps droppin to 3g.. still prl 3026.. and i think i just answered my own question lol.. jumpin back and forth between 4g and 3g killed it..

onto the positive.. it looks great!!! on 1.2.. all that is missing is blue numbers for clock ;) know thats in the works.. good job man..

and you know what some come learn from this?? always make a backup first.. lol.. i forgot to sync gmail (that is usually off.. all sync stuff) call it google.. so i'm gonna give it a better shot next time..

but actually.. this could prob be a bad flash.. first time ever there was a safe mode thing on the bottom left.. i rebooted and it was gone.. im not an expert but first time i saw that lol.. was like crap is this windows :D no its ice cream :P

to all the devs.. cwr is alot easier.. up to 5.0.0.0.whatever lol.. better then 3.0.0.0.0.0 hehe.. 5.3 i think.. i don't read version numbers all the time.. nix is steady with that.. i have windows 2020.1.2.4.3 :P

anyways.. point being.. i gotta do this right.. its gse and i was watching cartoons last night and really stoned lol.. thankyou all of you.. pg.. mt.. shiny.. and all the names i forget.. love this place.. now where is that chick with the droid lol

edit :P sometimes you confuse yourself.. fml why cant i stop typin lol drifta needs to be added to the list.. would love it as a theme though. know ya heard that plenty.. ive flashed this thing about a bazillion times.. (i almost want to brick it just to save it lol)
