this guy? I am downloading it now, so now my question is, and here we go with another noob, dont mind me. if i wipe everything and flash this and the test 8 and recover my data in cwm, will that bring back my root issue?

it shouldnt cuz ur installing a fresh rom with root already so u should be good its a rom so wipe data. wipe cache /wipe dalvik cache then flash
 
Thanks buddy. I'm downloading it now. When ya do an advanced restore it doesn't restore system apps and that's where su is so lol sorry just am not all right today

Metro here is 1.3 max for 4g,

and not yet still downloading,

So, When you restore "data", the data, is not SYSTEM apks and system settings, its only user level data, IE, call logs texts, apps, settings in which a standard user, non root can modify, when restoring "system" you are restoring System and all the sub folders of system, IE sys/apps/.

is that part correct?

so the screenshots on the second post represent which version of this? the mod version? zvb? zvc? because i installed GSE2 followed by the ZVC theme and it doesnt look like this. buttons are different. notification background is different, etc.

Wiped all data, system, cache, and java cache, same problem. with and without theme, again tried uninstalling it downloading a new su apk from the market, nothing, downgraded nothing. all functions of root works but preferences.

that's wired :confused: oh go to superuser go to settings scroll down check she binary update that it should be 3.0.3 oh shit my that's preference o. o
 
Mr pnut I can't see it lol I'm trying to find a app that will help with it. All functionalities work just no pref. Its this build not 1.7. Or 1.4

So I tried downloading the su signed file and binary signed file and push them in cwm with.no luck. Its a strange one indeed

Mr pnut can u zip up a backup and post a link a backup of a cwm can be pushed to another phone I'm wondering if out of an odds u got a release I didnt
 
Hey good work on the ZVD theme so far. I have a question though, are the boot up and shut down sounds disabled on this theme? I cant seem to get them to work.
 
Love the main lock screen now..got me dichting magic locker lol. Is it possible to add our own wallpaper to it or short cuts to messages or phone or cam options? If not it's koo..love the music app add on

well the lockscreen should be transparent lol so whatever your wallpaper is, should also be for lockscreen :D and what do you mean by shortcuts? lol

Certain locked screen let's ya have a separate wallpapers but that's no important. Short cuts to access messages and cam quicker
