to tell you the true i never installed #2. all i did was root my phone, installed rom manager and fast reboot. downloaded this theme and thats all. did i miss a HUGE step?

oh ok. well im going to start the process into flashing. just to make sure all i gotta do is go to rom manager or fast reboot and click recovery and wipe cache and divlak cache then install the theme?
edit:i completely started over and i still get the error that my status bar has stopped.
edit 2: ok i got it to work!!! all i had to do was download #2! huh who would have thunk it

lol thanks i will enjoy now that i got it working. now i can start playing with it and trying to customize it the best i can. im still reading throughout the forums trying to come up with some cool ideas.

normally i just dont respond to stuff like this... but im extremely curious as to how ONLY you seem to have this major issue and you immediately assume it's the zip file i provided..? I am curious to the proccess you used to apply this theme and what state your device was in before hand? Nobody else, including myself has this issue... i would NOT provide this for people to flash if that were the case..
so please explain...??

That's why AF also has a report button. Dont hesitate to use it if you feel someone is in the wrong or rude. The Mods wont know unless its brought to their attention. I like to think this is how we keep the Esteem forum in check

Hopefully this isn't a dumb question, in the op it says that the build.prop was updated, does that mean that this theme will affect the new build.prop in rom #2 2.3?

yes but not by a lot.. the build.prop in the is based of 2.2 of #2.. v2.3 had 1 small change that wont really make or break anything so you'll be fine
i WILL update it in time tho.. just need a better reason to add another digit to v# haha

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I was negating the effects of the newest rom version by reflashing your theme over it. In other words, wasting my time going from 2.2 to 2.3

I recently updated to #2 2.3... When i flashed this theme it says im back on #2 2.1... Does the theme about phone information need to be updated or im really back on 2.1????

The info version probably wasn't changed-you should be ok.
Its in the buildprop if you want to edit it with root explorer or ROM toolbox lite

Pull the build.prop from the 2.3 zip file you downloaded and put it on your sd card. Than using a file explorer navigate to the sd card and and copy the build.prop that you pull and copy it to /system/ and reboot the phone.
