I get home in 2 hours, but I'm trying to see if I can get a ride to my back before they close. Took over $50 in fees when my account isn't supposed to have fees. But if I can't get a ride anywhere I'll do some digging, see if I can find the boot sound, or if it's not good see if I can find a decent 1

yeah, honestly imopen to suggestions, doesn't have to be the galaxy nexus boot sound but at least something decent... if you can make one even better!! it'll be exclusive!!! lol
 
does the nexus even have a boot sound? my Xoom has ICS and uses the same boot animation but it doesn't have a boot sound

o really? that may explain why i couldn't find the file lol, well we gotta get something nice... cant use the razr boot sound with ics animation lol

-holy crap guys after submitting this i noticed how long it is so i had to add an apology at the begginning lol sorry for the paragraphs, but i feel my words are worth reading :D hahaha im jus kidding!!

ok i will start off with an explanation on some minor delays lol

-i want too and am willing to fix the bt issue, i just need someone to point me in direction to confirmed working settings.apk, i have no way to be sure if its fixed because i have no bt device... but dont want another unfixed update....(after this lol)

-i did fix the menu backgrounds temporarily... i tried to make a nice custom one with grey and blue trim but was having ******ed issues and cant figure out why... so i put stock white backgrounds in untill i find better solution (pg's cm9 mod will probly be coming soon anyway so im sure this rom will be another piece of history lol)

-now for the honest truth, besides the menu backgrounds the only other things with 1.1b is a tiny bit more additions to the ics ui, small un noticeable things but worth doing lol

-on a side note: i cant seem to pinpoint the source of the social plus settings in the accouns & sync menu... i do not have this in my ld-lg stock rom but there seem to be no extra apk's in the gse base or anything unfamiliar in the bin & lib folders so im kinda stumped on that lol i just want to remove it so please dont ask for a fix.. its useless crap just get the apps lol

so uhhhmmm its really up to you if you want to flash... should just be able to flash it on top of 1.1 if you really want the ui fixes.. but hopefully with the next update i will have the 'more serious' issues solved like the ones mentioned above... and i think someone said there was an issue with video playback so i need to do some investigating on that :D

theres nothing wrong with video playback. I can watch videos i record from camera, i can watch youtube videos, i can watch facebook videos. Its all good
 
I found a boot sound for I think is called the galaxy prime. What I can tell, it uses the same boot ani, but actually has a sound. I personally don't think much of it, but perhaps you'll feel differently

Can't find link again, uploading now.

EDIT: Here's a zip, I included the prime sound, as well as 1 I made myself. I'll keep looking for more, but your welcome to them

then push it to the rom zip file, and remove the LG Home.apk

then reflash your new rom :D

Little problem I unzipped then put the launcher and compressed and while installing it was aborted. Running windows 7

well if you unzip it, than you must sign it after re zipping it

but if you use 7zip you can just delete old and push new than flash rom

haha no wayyy, i would be pissed if that sound ever came out my phone lol... i actually did stumble accross that one but didn't like it lol thanks tho
 
I am also experiencing considerably worse battery life with this ROM than the Extreem. I have all my settings set to max out battery life but it still won't last a day even on wifi. Unfortunately I'm going to have to revert back until this is fixed because I need the phone to make ti through a work day.
 
I really don't understand why my battery life is supposedly better, I'm using stock and after 4 hours of constant use (using wifi) I'm only at 78%

what i do is i have 2x battery saver app running all day and i get from 7am to about 8 maybe 9pm on one charge. of course will lowering the screen brightness, etc

do you have background data and auto sync turn off, that will also kill the battery.
 
To fix blue tooth flash the bluetooth fix for ginger fushion them sand that should work it did for me
 
As for the Guaranteed working BlueTooth fix... I replaced the GS OG Setting.apk with the one in GSE and it worked fine after that... idk why and I'm being serious, I understand that u arent going to believe me as Setting.apk wasnt messed with at all but that was my experience with it.

Like it was already said its the settings.apk. Spc had the same problem and all he did was change out 15 icons. Something about changing out the icons breaks Bluetooth. Just either A. Like stated flash the Bluetooth fix that's in the Gingerfusion theme or swap out the settings.apk yourself in the system/app folder with the stock settings.apk which I also posted in the Gingerfusion theme.

Its broken in KaneOfMars theme too....

k cool thanks, ill ad it in right now, anf hopefully can solve a few more issues to release an update... or maybe ill just make the flashable fix like everyone else did lol
