Root {Theme}{Port} Matted Blues

I think all dj05 themes have reboot (maybe defcon doesn't....not sure)

Seriously i swear matted blues update all versions this friday....may not be as big an update as i planned but it will address location icons in status bar and system text color....the battery percentage in the original battery most likely as well. :)
 
what I did with cwm was make an image right after i rooted for the first time and got cwm on. then made another one right after i got DJ05 on my phone. just rename them and it'll help out in the long run if you're new to this like me =D

something like 'post-DJ05' etc etc

Hey nitsuj17, i am currently JT's clean 0.9, can i flash matted blues on top of it without having issues with skype. the newest ROM 0.9 has the latest version of skype. Thanks
 
Is there any prerequisite to installing a theme? I tried the engraved version of this theme and while most parts of the theme seem to match the screen caps in the thread not everything does.

Is there something special i have to do to get the backgrounds or those particular dock icons, etc?

I have previously modified parts of the stock tw theme on my phone, particularly i added a modified battery with percentage and reboot options. Not sure if that could have any effect.

wallpapers, dock icons, and docks will not apply automatically from a theme.

im in the process of putting together icon/wallpaper packs for each theme (i already did it for galaxy red evolution) and will put up the icons, etc for this theme soon most likely

Gotcha. If you get a chance to post the icons and wallpapers that would be cool. Great job with the theme btw.
 
Couple other things I noticed. I downloaded the engraved version but the task bar icons look like the non engraved version to me. Also when i go into the call log the call icon on the right side of each entry is still the original green color instead of the gray in your screen caps.

Just FYI, and it may just be that I'm a little confused. I'm just comparing what I have to the screen shots in the first post.

yes, the dialer buttons im aware of...but what icons are the same? do you mean status bar? because they are all different...or should be unless there is an error somewhere....as for app icons, unless i changed a particular app (which i didnt do many in this theme) they would the the stock versions

nevermind i found which version you were talking about...i must have copied the wrong drawable-hdpi folder into that framework :o

should be fixed now

the updated dialer may or may not get fixed until aosp/froyo comes out as i plan to rehaul it completely once some transparency things become available that dont work on 2.1 frameworks. :)

In retrospect I should have been a bit more clear about the version I dl'ed, hope it didn't take you too long to figure out. Thanks for the response :D
