Root Themed notification drawer and other stuff for Lg Motion.

i'm not finding it anywhere...but i'll keep checking...

all i am finding with ctrl+f is the user agent

Yeah hopefully no one buys it.
I really want a phone that i can mess with without having to restore everytime something goes wrong.

My mistake, the previous steps were for GB. Doh! Drop a replacement eri.xml file in /data then reboot. I got this one from another forum and modded it. Just change the EnigmaNet to whatever you want. Thanks to Dakota0206 at xda! Just change the file extension to xml before pushing and make sure the perms are rw-r-r.

where exactly do we place it , am kinda confused ... i dont see an existing file that is named eri.xml in data/ directory ..? help is appreciated

There isn't one. This file overrides the carrier name wherever it actually is in the system. Just drop it in /data and reboot. I use Root Browser, it always does what I ask it to. And yeah, I didn't notice the attachment got posted at the top :)

Do you get the balloon saying root browser has been granted super user permissions? Is the eri.xml file in /data when you try to set perms? It sometimes doesn't work if it's not where it needs to be. Looks like it's on /mnt/sdcard.

Ya i didn't move it to data before setting permissions. I got it working, thanks for the help.
 
thanks for clearing things up ... i managed to get it working :rolleyes:
