thinking about buying this...

Kind of like this little guy. Went VZW today to take a look at it. I like the way it felt in the hand. Just sold my OG razr, so my question is should I purchase it from Amazon wireless or off eBay?

I've found the lowest prices off contract off of those two sites. Let me know what you guys think.

Um, either one is fine I imagine, buyers have pretty good protections against deadbeat sellers on either site.

I kind of like it too and would also consider swapping from the large original Razr down to the M. The original is neat and thin but it's actually a bit harder to hold because of that odd form factor. I don't think I'd miss the larger screen size. But I don't have an upgrade right now so it isn't worth spending the $ for me.

For me it was. I sold my original Razr mainly because it was not comfortable to hold in the hand then throwing a case on it didn't make it any better. I had a 10% coupon on eBay and that brought the price down to $447. I'm pleased with that. Hopefully it should be here by Friday.

The original RAZR and the RAZR M have the same size screen. In fact, I think the screen is the exact same one. The M put that screen in a smaller frame.

REALLY???

OK, now I have to go check and verify that for myself....her phone is around here somewhere....

Yup...both are 4.3". The original RAZR one gives you a bit more usable space, since it has physical buttons for navigation rather than software buttons.

WOW! Verified it last night. I didn't believe it at first because the glass over the screen is larger on the original, but the actual screen below it is indeed the same size. I had no idea, I haven't read much about it, just saw it in the store as a new arrival when we went to go get her a new phone last week...

This device is looking good to me as an upgrade from my hTC droid incredible 2.
I was going to get the dinc4G but wasn't too immersed with it.
This phone to me has all the things the dinc4G lacks, 4.3 inch display and the on-screen ICS navigation keys. I like the design of it also the Kevlar back and gorilla glass with the water repellant coating are very good materials.
I will be picking one up soon, hopefully next week. A small sleek phone with almost the same size as my Dinc2 with a 4.3 display fits the bill plus, the device I upgraded to had to have the S4 processor so all systems go for me!!!

I will take a chance on Motorola for the first time after 2 hTC androids,I really like what I am seeing with this type m droid razr! ;)

By the way here goes some goodies, just got these on my droid incredible 2!
Can't wait to go pick my razr M up!!! Enjoy!

Got mine in the mail today. Love the look of it, feels good. The screen looks nice too. Haven't had a chance to mess with it too much yet.

When it came to my door, it only had 17% on the battery. So I have it charging right now. I will post some of my first impressions here in a little bit.

Could you please go to the signal strength thread and let us know how the signal on the M compares to the signal on your Razr? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Edit: doh just saw in the op that you already sold your og razr. Please give us general impressions regarding signal strength anyways :)
