Root [TIP] Quick Baseband Switching

Is there a way to revert to EJ06 without having to re-install all of my apps yet again? Sorry, between taxes and doing two phones, my brain is toast now...

Sorry about the confusion guys.

1) Put your phone into download mode and connect to your PC.
2) Open Odin (make sure your phone is detected), on the left of the Odin screen select the box that says One Package.
3) Select your ops file
4) Then select your EJ06 phone.tar in the only available box(bottom right of Odin screen)
5) Hit start
6) Enjoy EJ06. :D

(Once Odin says reset and your phone reboots it is safe to unplug. You don't have to wait for the reset timer to finish.)
 
First time in forum....be patient please...I hav CM7 with 5027 gb 2.3.6, need to revert in order to update a new phone number....tried most of this possible solutions with no luck.......can someone give a tip. Thank you
 
I am running CTMod 3.5 and kk 2.4 when i flashed my baseband to EJ06 it doesn't show the change in About Phone. Is this normal?

The fa19 up date bricked my phone. I'm guessing it was because my internal memory was full when it started. However, on a good note, my phone being bricked is the only reason I discovered this website. So, thanks to all the devs that made CTMod and koumakernal...my phone is WAY faster than it was stock. Currently running FA19 with CTMod 3.6, KK 2.5, and baseband ej06 baseband with no lag and no problems.

Great news and glad you got it fixed . Rooting is definitely the way to go. :)
 
I tried switchhing back to ej06 then when I did my antutu benchmarks took a dive from 2000 to 1200 the video scores were terrible on ej06 so I switched back so why this be happening

Dunno. I personally don't change just the modem, I change everything and start from scratch. I'm running straight EJ06 right now w/ CM7. :D
