so i've rooted 2 phones now, backed up 1 with titanium backup, saved the backup to my laptop... tomorrow i will start removing what i think is bloatware![]()
protip: use the freeze option if its available on the free version. Then you can test the waters on the removal scene before fully removing anything. If no crash after several days, likely you can kick it down the road for good. Some apps are obvious bloat, others can be tied into the system when you think they wouldn't. Up to you, I like playing the caution card...been burned too many times.

Like Funky said, the nandroid is the ultimate saviour on that front but freezing temporarily can flesh out problems as well. Without having to do a full scale restore to get things back up to snuff.
