While I'm not familiar with rooting this specific device, I think you will need a PC to root judging by the root methods I looked at for this device.

It's not bad, I think it is telling you that you don't have root, or that the root binaries aren't installed.

Sorry, this phone cannot be rooted without a computer (maybe one day, but not yet).
I found this thread to root the newest update on the F6 though. [ROOT][SHARE] VRoot 1.6.0.3690 - 1-Click Root Method - Lenovo A706, Walkman F800 etc - xda-developers
