Wow- I was just starting to post four new threads about searching for disclaimers when this popped up. Guess I'll wait and do it tomorrow.

And start six threads instead.

How do you get this video to automatically pop-up and play on people's computers at the exact moment they are about to ask their question? Make a video...why, so they won't find it? You're giving people too much credit there!:D

I had a guy I work with ask me to update a powerpoint presentation he needed because he didn't know how. You know...never had "training" on it. I told him to do a google search or youtube search and he'd know how to change a slide in 2 minutes...I still had to update the damn thing for him!:mad:
 
I know this is probably off topic, but has anyone figured out how to get the 2.1 APKs onto our phones yet? I may root my phone if it can be done.
 
Someone said that Droid-phone thing is pretty cool. Somewhere 'round here. It's sposed to be a pretty good phone. That's what they're saying on the internet.
My brother-in-law read where it's sposed to be better than iphone. Any of you guys heard anything? Oh, and how do you get the clock on a VCR to stop blinking? Do you still have to preheat if you're gonna microwave something?

Yes, sir. I was just following suit with the spirit of the thread. How many times have you seen people pick completely random posts to hijack?

In the OT section, there is a thread called "ask ask ask", which is a forum game. No lie... there is a post in there from a new member asking some random question about billing for a verizon phone or something like that.

Guys, people come here for help. Not to be ridiculed by others who may or may not have seen the same thing over and over and over. Read the rules thread about demanding others use the search.

Yes it is a great tool. Yes some people use it. Some people don't.

They come here for help, they want a personal touch and they ask their questions. If you're not okay with that you're welcome to move on to another forum.

I'm getting really tired of seeing the regulars here make fun of people who get a new phone, aren't sure about something, look for help (which is why we built the place), but then god forbid don't do it the ideal way for some of you and get run out.

I really hoped I wouldn't have to start trolling threads to seek out people like this, but I guess I will.

You need to be polite to people who come to you (this place) for help.
