It helps running CPU master pro with screen off profile set. If I lay off it lasts all day

Ok I have had Ubuntu installed on a dual boot...however when I run Ubuntu and try to connect wireless in WILL NOT EFFIN CONNECT!!! WTH??? It has connected one time and that one, when connected for EFFIN 5min, it knocked my phone off of wireless????????????????????????????????????? Can ANYONE please comment WTH is going on here?

What kind of lock or passcode? wep, etc?
 
Anyone else not seeing any signal bars? (they are there but i always have 'no bars') it's either how the signal strength is interpreted, or the images themselves being wrong (all the same?) Same in every theme i tried... I am using the phone now, so clearly i have signal... (i sure miss the dbm display option on cm7... And worse the option is there in this ROM, but broken, as if to mock me :D:D:banghead: )

No signal bars or 3g. Same as you ... doesn't work with any of the themes.:afraid:

To be honest, I really know nothing about Ubuntu, I've had a few failed attempts to get it right, and still trying. I don't find the Ubuntu threads helpful as I thought they would be. Well for my issues anyway.

I want to use the Wubi. installation, but the damn thing hangs up in the copying files portion of the load.. I still have the dual booting option, but no Ubuntu.. :(

I agree with you all the way around on that J6!!! Threads = HUH? lol.....I can get it to boot BUT....no connection....get right to the finish line and get a flat!!! WTH!:mad:

My bad J6. I thought that you had fixed it and up and running.

I know someone else that I know for sure has got it up and running. Lemme send them PM. Again bro, thx for getting back so quick. :)

i used to use virtualbox but decided to dual-boot. now i rarely go back to win7.

for the wifi problem you can try this

sudo ifconfig wlan0 down
sudo rmmod -f iwlagn
sudo modprobe iwlagn 11n_disable=1
sudo ifconfig wlan0 up

it'll reset on reboot if it doesn't work. if it does work you can search those commands and find out how to make it permanent.

It's no problem bro, I'm always down to help when I can.

BUT! If anyone that has some time on there hands and wanted lend helping hand for a few PM's to get Ubuntu (by Wubi) on my PC I would be their best friend..Ohh the things I can do with my hands.. lol Like make pizza or cat-head biscuits..LMAO

Just for clarification, "cat-head biscuits" DO NOT contain cat heads...

the virtual box eats up my RAM, that was my first encounter of the third kind..

WHAT! Cat head biscuits! Man .... now I'm hungry. Heh, I made a homemade banana bread tonight and it almost gone. The wife and I put a hurtin' on that sucker. MM MM MM . :eating:

Ya thought it was just the theme

Had to completely hard reset my router recently changes wep key but resolved connectivity
