Root total bricked..

i believe i 100% bricked my ally... i was messing around with the master script thing someone posted here and enabled turbo without thinking. its stuck on the verizon animation and wont let me boot to recovery. i have also tired every hard reset trick i could find. when i get off work ill have access to my pc if that could help me in anyway. plllllleeeeeeeeaaaaassssseeeeee someone help if you can :/

Phone is not bricked. If it turns on it can be salvaged.

FIRST THING FIRST:
Remove battery, put back in and turn on the phone using:
Call + Menu + Power buttons.(You must hold them while phone is turning on and while on the (M) screen.)

That will boot into recovery... if that does not work or flashes a triangle then boots and hangs let me know.

Downloads - Misc - LG Ally USB Drivers

Those are the drivers you need to be able to access fastboot. Install those to the root of your C:/ drive and try again. Post back if you run into any other issues.
thanks i'll give that a shot. it recognises that the phone is there but i could never get the drivers correctly situated.... i wish i brought my laptop to work... bleh haha

it flashes a triangle. i've never had recovery work right with the stock flash for some reason. any other suggestions would be awesome. thanks

You need to get a custom recovery back on, to do this you need adb or fastboot working, adb is easy, just plug the phone in and install pda net for drivers.

You can also try allyrr v2 (our little unrevoked toy)

I have guides on these things... somewhere, probably on the old ally site
Android Ally

Try allyrrv2 first, then try manual

Sorry for the hassle.

i was trying to figure out what the allyrr thing was but i'm horrible at search, thanks for the link i will try that out. pda net drivers dont work for me for some reason. i guess i should have figured that out from the beginning before i started flashing this thing lol thanks for the help.

keep the ideas rollin the more i have to try tonight the better i'll feel if i do go to verizon lol

i have an lg ally and was using the rom raptor i saw the rom called toast3dmiuv2.1zip and it looked cool so i installed it now my phone lg ally is stuck on the lg lifes good boot screen i need help

OK if you are using an LG ALLY and have bricked your phone if you have clockword mod recorvery indstalled all you have to do is hit UP VOLUME HOME AND POWER BUTTON AT SAME TIME AND INSTALL ANOTHER ROM OR STOCK ROM FROM YOUR SD CARD then hit reboot system if u dont have another rom nust get one of the web install on sd card and follow above steps any questions post back

ok this is getting beyond ridiculous.... allyrr worked... kinda i cant restore or flash the keeps saying theres no sdcard. enabled usb-ms get a cant mount sdcard error tried restoring manually like on your site and get failed- invalid arguement

wash you phone first(then say water damage)

next time i suggest you throughly read instructions on how to root and flash roms.

well turns out my 16g sdcard went bad and my laptop is a pos haha finally got it to flash velocity .4 from my stock sdcard (only thing i had on it) its doing first boot now.

thankyou savoxis!!! ally rr is the best it may not be the rom i wont but now that i got it back i'm happy as hell. and thank you alexmason... seems that my mistake was common with the scripts pack savoxis posted which he has now fixed. i just happened to have the worst case of it..

i maybe new to this but i dont play around with not reading up on possible problems and i thank everyone that has helped. this was definitely a good learning experience.... not that i every wont to brick it so damn bad again

Hey glad to see you're back up and running. It's not funny when you get your phone in loop help and can't get into Recovery. Took me a while to figure it out when it happened to me too.
