Hey guys, I am new here. I decided that Xda was not the place for me. I have an HTC Sensation which I have S-OFF, perm root, and eagerly awaiting CM7. I also have many questions!Hope this place is friendlier than Xda. (puke!)

I am also an electrical engineering intern and a senior in college.

But, I will now take some time to do some looking. Just thought I would say a quick hello!

Matt

A hearty warm welcome to you, mrg02d.

I'm sure you're having fun looking around a bit and getting to know your way around the community. Great to have you join your new family of friends.

mrg02d, you have posted this in the wrong section!

:D j/k, just wanted to make you feel at home here!

I like to think this is a friendly forum. XDA really is a great sites for developer contributions but we are more geared to the end users. Noobs and experienced users deserve the exact same level of respect and if that isn't reflected in a certain post...please use the report button and one of us Mods will be right there to take a look.

Welcome to AF!

Matt,

Welcome to AF!

I'm (still) a member over at XDA and they are trying to change things around:

Operation "Iron Fist" is Now in Full Force

They certainly have a reputation that they are trying to overcome that I have seen first-hand myself.

Thankfully, AndroidForums suffers from no such bad-rep, and we are all striving here to make sure that continues.

Cheers and again, welcome!

Welcome to the forums,mrg02d. XDA is definitely not for everyone but AF is! We got noobs, devs, pros etc...its truly a great place. The mods aren't that bad either lol. :p

I hope you get to know the place. Enjoy your stay!
