Root Triumph for $50

Ok everybody.... The Triumph is a damn good phone, but VM service in my area blows & I refuse to continue paying $$$ to a company that refuses to support their products. On top of that, I do yearly trips to NC/TN where I have zero service for a week straight. This coming summer I'm going out to Cali to ride up the coast. Checked cell coverage last night, bought Verizon this evening. Hate to say this, but the phone I bought smokes the Triumph in every way..... Even if it is 4X the cost. I need something that works every time I pull it out of my pocket. Nav is a necessity when you're lost many miles from home, it's getting late, & you need to find somewhere to crash.

So..... If anyone wants to grab my Triumph for $50 (or I'll donate it to Isaac to come back) let me know. Triumph in fair condition (screen protector still on with a few scuffs, otherwise good) with charger & 4Gb Sandisk card.

Sorry, but I gotta have something I can depend on & VM's service is sketchy where I live, & an absolute joke where I travel.

If it doesn't go here, off to craigslist.

oh well...

when you get to cali make it known well go on a ride up PCH. when you say right up the coast I assume motorcycle? although there are a lot of large bicycling groups that do that too.

Wow... After we made the deal, he refunded my payment, with this: "someone beat you to it".

Bought a bunch of stuff on forums and never been done that way before.
 
Just FYI for others reading this and are thinking of selling MT or come into one in the future. It'd be worth a lot more to the community to donate it to a dev with experience (maybe who has another phone & wants to try VM or just willing to help) to try to get ICS working (or improve existing ROMs). If I had joined this forum earlier, I would've tried to get TickerGuy to keep his MT (w/ community donations, even without a monthly plan), so that he can still help improve ROMs. It's silly to lose a good dev just because of a cheap phone. This applies for any phone on any other carrier.
 
There is a spot in the AF forums (Classifieds) for buying/selling phones and things. Please post there in the future.

They have a form you are supposed to follow and all that. It is fine to post here with a link to your listing, but that should be how it is handled in the future. There is also a sticky with some way to handle feedback and all that.
