True or False

Ninja'd, here was my answer to the Rev - False, there are several others that are harder - from various nanotubes (still involving carbon) or diamonds in non-conventional crystaline forms to structures made from other materials (like boron) to the guy who wrote us to protest that we were violating his first amendment rights by not allowing him to spam you all with his exciting new offers.

I think that whatever was between his ears was among the hardest substances I've encountered yet.

True, I'm _mostly_ going to relax today.

You partake in a lucky food (such as black-eyed peas, etc etc) on New Year's Eve, or know someone who does.

False. That just sounds gross! :p

You're a digger for nostril gold while operating a motor vehicle, which you then proceed to fling said nostril gold out of the window

False on the nose picking (yuck!) - and true on the lucky food, much of the world practices that tradition, only the food varies. (And seriously - no black-eyed peas?)

T/F
You've never had typical soul food, including mustard or collard greens, black-eyed peas and fatback.

I thought they sublime, not melt...?

Under something like 10,000,000 times atmospheric pressure, diamond can melt. It is being researched for use in fusion factors or something like that.

True, depending on the light, the clouds and your point of view, for the same reason that snow is white.

Ten Summoner's Tales is Sting's best album.

I'll guess true on ebay and confess that I made that up about steel wool, so that was very interesting. :)

You don't keep track of -r or -rw on blank CDs or DVDs so long as they work.

lol. If that was a guess then it was brilliant. I googled it and found the answer on Wikipedia that mentioned the lanolin/sheep/steel wool thing. And actually the answer to mine was F. the first item sold on ebay in 1995 was a laser pointer

I'll say T to yours. I know I never keep track. Just stick it in and see if it works. (I seem to remember my dad telling me that during our "birds and bees" conversation years ago. lol)

T/F Using Google to get the answers to this thread is pretty lame.

False, IMO the purpose of these question come in the form of humor and odd factual learnings. Glad I saw this thread.

T/F a duck's quack doesn't echo.
