Two questions about TapFish

The only orange looking fish that's 15 coins is the Red Longtail, also in starter fish. And the Orange Snapper, also 15 coins
 
It's called a Platy fish and it's gold orange and quite big. Its not available on the android version and can't find it in the iPod store.
 
Droidros, I know a way you can get more platys (I think).

I can buy it from your tank, put it in my first tank, then you can buy it from there. You can click buy aas many times as you want, as far as I can tell.
 
Yep, found it. Platy Fish, Super exotic category, buy for 10 coins, sell for 15, grows in 4 hours. it's between Heart tetra and Long Finned Oscar
 
Platys "super-exotic?". On what planet? =D

No wonder she couldn't find them.

As for the Link2SD question. Don't move to SD unless you plan on changing cards. I also found out (the hard way mind you) that once a MicroSD card that is linked, is removed you lose it forever. The apps that is. I partitioned a 2 GB card and bought and partitioned a 16 GB (31 dollars winning) card and forgot to unlink it had to redownload all my apps.

They weren't even there when I put the 2 GB card back in. Luckily my phone auto backups data so it was as if I never lost it. Still a pain remembering twenty some odd apps.

Okay, the link2sd moved all the program to the sd, plus the dalvik cache and lib files if you checked that, too.

It will tell you that you can move it via apps2sd (or whatever app you have) but that isn't going to do anything. At least not anything helpful ;)

now, if anyone knows a way to move the games data to the sd-please speak up! It is a real hog!

Oooh, yeah that's what I meant, "Move to SD" accessed from an app like Apps2SD or from Settings->Manage Applications. Does the phone not recognize that Link2SD already stored TapFish to my SD#2?
 
TapRos, I put that ugly fish I was talking about earlier in a tank labeled with your name. It's under the faves tanks.

Okay maybe I'm not getting something, but since I linked Tapfish already to my SD, then why is my phone settings (not from any app, just from settings, manage applications) allowing me to move it to the SD? I thought I already did that.. with Link2SD. My guess is that since the app requires a root, the phone doesn't get that I already moved Tapfish to the SD. So my initial question was whether or not it would do any harm in splitting Tapfish's MBs between the two partitions, if that's what even happens...

Thanks, Obee. I'm flattered......but I can't find that tank. I see faves1 and 2...then tanks 46, 47, etc. but no TapRos no fish in those tanks.
 
Thanks everyone for locating the platy. Raynold I have been buying from your tank, including the 0 cost gift fish......a cheap way of getting some pretty fish! I'm still very fish poor on the iPod. It IS a slow game when you start out! :p Something weird happened too. I bought enough plants and decorations to get it up to 90% and sol some snappers at the bonus price. But the next time I looked it was back down to 88%. I had expressed my love, tank is clean and fish are fed so don't know what happened. Nothing in inventory either.

Thanks raynold also for the limited breedable you sent me. Can these breed with any other limited breedables or only certain ones? -TapRos
 
Obee, I just visited your sharks tank and I see a bunch of dead fish even though you have a food brick. Are you seeing the same thing? I revived a couple of them.

I stopped by and revived as many as I could.

This same thing happened to me last week and all of you chipped in to bring them back for me (TY again). I believe the problem is if you put fish into a tank that are not yet hungry they don't know the food brick exists. If you go back the next day these fish will be hungry, find the brick and then they are fine until the brick is gone. I'm going to assume that once the brick is gone and you put a new one in you'll need to revisit that tank when all the fish are hungry so they can find the new brick.

I'm betting this is a bug in the code or at least I would consider this to be a bug. If there's a food brick I shouldn't need to revisit the tank again until I know the brick is gone.
 
Did they release a new update? If so, my automatic update isn't working. I've been manually downloading the last few updates.

Well, I guess they do listen to their customers. I, among many others, probably, wrote and complained about the speed up button, as well as the silly jackpot spin "sale" notification.

have you noticed that they have added a endangered species catogry to the fish eggs

and one more thing obee what is your tapfish name ( mine in Jammyluke):confused:
 
What....???? I visit my tanks almost daily, mostly at night when I can't go to sleep (bad insomnia), and every tank was alive and kicking and cleaned! I even put starfish algae eaters in the extra empty tanks just last night... so I'm very confused! Maybe the servers are delayed in some areas, or something else funky might be going on... Thanks for the heads up though. Check again sometime soon, TapRos, maybe it'll update. Or just check out the breed "Box Piranha," that's what it's called. I also like your Uglies tank. That big out-out-proportion fish is horrible. I wonder who designs these breeds and what drives their decision-making, haha.

HEY YOU, if you're reading this, know that we're not sneaky evil hackers who are destroying your business. We're actually doing a service to your game by playing our way. So if there's any corrupt involvement, cut it out! ;P

As for the coins/bucks don't you know if you want to start at the top, you've gotta begin your digits with all 9's??? Haha. Mindbenda posed a challenge, so I'm not gonna give away my secret amount, but I will say I used a whole lotta 9's. (damn, did that give away my secret?)

I do have to admit, though, since pumping up my coins it's been less fun to play. So I'm going to take away all the coins I added and just leave the fb, so I'll have something to work for. Cause what fun is a game when there's no challenge?? :p;)

Welcome, Jammyluke. Hehe, funny you should ask....Now that I'm starting from scratch on the iPod, I was also wondering how I ever got anywhere! What level are you at? You seem to be doing the right thing by buying lots of tanks and filling them with snappers for xp. And I see you have the white grunts already. You'll soon be able to step up to Scott Fairy Fish, Royal Gramma, etc. After a few buys and sells you'll reach a million five and be able to get the borbonius, then onto the pink skunk.

I have spent a bit of real money, too, mainly to buy the breedables and extra breeding tanks. Once you get all the breedables, you have an unlimited number of fish. Several people in this forum have all the breeds and you can go and visit their tanks to see what they look like.

I am working on a spreadsheet with all the breedables across the columns and down the rows..like a mileage chart. The sell price of each hybrid is charted in the intersecting cells. I am trying to keep track of which ones I have so I know which ones to go for next. Right now, I'm working on ugly babies. :p
