UK faulty device returns process?

I rang and he told me to open it whilst on the phone. No damage from the dent, but there's screen rise

my replacement developed a click where the screen has lifted slightly in only 1 day I've warmed it up and clipped it down while it cooles to see if that helps. If not, Nexus 7 #2 is going back 
PS - it is now 48 hours after receiving the replacement, and still no return label as per the instructions ... this is getting on my t*ts now

Finally received my N7 replacement today (10 days after my initial request) and all seems fine at the moment. I've applied pressure around the edges of the screen to see if there any sign of creaking or screen lift but I can't find any. The left side in particular was the problem with my old device but as far as I can tell the screen is flush with the edge of the device. So I am happy.
Now I just need to wait for the return label they said I would receive.

No - been chased up twice now. Getting close to that 21 day timescale.

That sounds a little soleless. Although I guess time heels all wounds, so they'll get over it.

Wow I'm a little worried by this thread, looks like a lot of people are receiving defective devices. I'm just going to hope and pray I don't have to deal with any of this when mine arrives.
I guess screen creak and screen separation is appearing to be a big problem with the nexus 7?

Mine turned up a couple of days later. Actually a pre addressed TNT plastic envelope. And it's safely back with Google.
I got my replacement device ok. And several days later a TNT packaging form. TNT denied to take it.
I phoned Google who put a case worker on my case. The guy from Google emailed me saying to send to Computer 2000. I phoned Computer 2000, and they said Google would need to contact them first, and get a R triple 0 number and give my details. They would post me the packaging to my personal address to post back to them.
To be honest, Google seem very dis-organised, their site is not clear and I've sent countless messages to Google Ireland, but still no response. When I do phone Google they say they have never heard of this issue.
I can see they are not that concerned, as they still have my money. I think Google should just admit this major mistake they've made, and work at resolving it.

An update! I phoned Google, and they said TNT are legally obliged to accept the package. So I called back TNT and they say they will now accept it! They will pick it up on Monday and deliver to ASUS in the Netherlands. I love Google again (even more when then unlock the

There is a very scary thread on this issue at the XDA forum. It seems that everyone who telephones Google form the UK is told an entirely different thing. I am still waiting for the return label that Google promised to be with me by last Wednesday. The worrying thing is that Google are telling people that the money will be charged after 21 days if the return is not received despite the problems being caused by them.
I'll be calling Google tomorrow as they have ignored 2 emails already. I think I'll also be contacting trading standards for some advice.

Yea, I'm already worried, its 5 days since they received my replacement order and no shipping or anything yet other than acknowledging they received my order, even though it says its in stock.
Just want it to get here so I can send the faulty one back and get the with lifted.

I called Google this morning. The operator told me it was a good thing that I called as htey have just recognised this as a "known problem"!
So, he had to fill out a form, and has sent it to the next level (sounds ominous). Here is the crux of the email confirmation received after the call:

I've had to chase up my label again. Last time they said they'd put a note on the account so that I wouldn't be charged after 21 days.
Another phone call to the Google Play helpline after still no shipping label arriving.
This time, I was told that the problem is with TNT. They are supposed to be handling the returns but are not working per Google's directions.
I was assured that this issue is now resolved and all returns labels should be sent out in the next 48 hours. If nothing arrives by then (thursday eve) then we should call GP again and follow up.
I hope it works out as I have also just ordered another RMA ... (what have I done

My replacement was despatched on 24th July but I'm still waiting for my return label. Have sent multiple emails which until the last one I got a reply saying it was in hand. 
If the 21 days elapses and Google make a second charge I'll get the CC company involved and register it as a rogue transaction
