Root Unbricking your Sprint or Virgin Mobile USA phone using official tools and dll and bin files

I just did this on two phones and it worked awesome!!!! I updated the beats audio driver to the new one and that was the problem. Has anyone else had this happen yet??

I think the drop box link isn't working, says there's too much traffic. Any other way you could share those files? I could really use them for my bricked phone - stuck in download mode after I did EXACTLY what the manuals tell me not to do, that is factory reset a custom ROM. Go me... anyway, I could really use the flash tool. Thanks for your help!

hey i have the virgin mobile lg optimus elite and when i try to download from that link is says its temporarly disabled and i really need that to get my phone back

IT WORKED! THANK YOU SO MUCH! LESSONED LEARNED! my 3G and wifi wouldnt work then about 2 mins later i had a pop up on my phone needing it to update so i let it and everything is back to working :D

hewy guys do you think this kind of method would work for a LGL45C stuck in CWM Bootloop?
Stupid me tried to do a factory reset inside the OS and totally "eeffd" my phone up.

This forum post is the closest thing i have found to an answer to fixing my problem.
Any help would be vastly appreciated..

If you can get into Recovery on your phone as your saying it's a CWM bootloop, then you should be able to just flash a rom or the stock one. :]

Next time dont reset the phone using the option in the settings. Factory reset using the CWM one. Why did you need to anyways?

I just want to thank you deeply for this easy to follow tutorial! I bought the Virgin Mobile Optimus Elite and I *accidentally* installed the Beats by Dre drivers and totally bricked my phone (it was stuck on the LG logo and would not proceed). I thought I was royally screwed. But you saved the day! I wanted to write in here so that hopefully someone who did the same idiotic thing I did would Google and find this result. XO!

I had been improperly flashing roms... not formatting system or data... so I was having random reboots. Idk why I forgot to reset through cwm... I'm full of fail I know...

We all make mistakes. Learned something new atleast right? :] Make sure to make nandroid backups in CWM before you flash a rom so if it screws up go into recovery and just restore your backup.

Will do hatred, lol. Also tjsanders, consider adding this into your instructions. "If phone is not listed in ports, go to modems and disable Androidnet modem. Then restart computer and continue from step 4." This is what I had to do to get it to work. Thanks again!
