I think with our method, goto the factory reset screen with the button combo and accept factory reset, won't reset it but will boot you into TWRP (twrp only)How did he get into recovery?
I did that and it wiped the data then just rebooted. Hmmmmm.I think with our method, goto the factory reset screen with the button combo and accept factory reset, won't reset it but will boot you into TWRP (twrp only)
Works for our L70's, not sure about the Ultimate.I did that and it wiped the data then just rebooted. Hmmmmm.
I bet we could mod the boot.img and make it so the volume up button reboots into recovery. I say that all the time.Works for our L70's, not sure about the Ultimate.
Actually, I think he used fastboot to boot into recovery (since Realm's bootloader is unlocked)I bet we could mod the boot.img and make it so the volume up button reboots into recovery. I say that all the time.
I don't think there is fastboot on the LG Ultimate 2 because I have tried many times to get into fastboot. I will look a bit harder.Actually, I think he used fastboot to boot into recovery (since Realm's bootloader is unlocked)
with fastboot boot (putrecoveryhere).img
but you should do that boot.img first incase things go down the drain real quick.

I shall try that. It did not work on the LG Ultimate 2. Any other ideas @elisam98 or was I doing it wrong?Actually, the Realm has a key combo to get into recovery.
I just held down the vol down and power keys to boot straight into recovery.

It does not work for the LG Ultimate 2. Could you upload a system dump so I could see if any of the files could be used to boot into recovery? I might just use the realm system folder and my boot.img and updater script. It may not work for all phone variants. I have a LG Optimus Exceed 2 (VZW's w5c variant) and it won't boot into recovery.
But just to verify, I started with my phone off. Then i pressed and held the volume down button and then pressed and held the power button until the Realm booted into recovery

Well I know for sure we can mod the boot.img to get it to make the volume up key the recovery key. They have done it on the LG Optimus Fuel so I am sure we can do it here.Unfortunately, I don't think it works that way.
The way I understand it, the button combo is either hardwired into the device, or it doesn't exist.
I like how you used the redtube app as an exampleFor all ms323 users who cannot manually install apks because they can't open security to tick "unknown sources", try installing via adb. Copy desired apk to where your adb is and then type, for example:
adb install redtube.apk
That should do it![]()
I will make a batch file for that. Expect it in the next 45 minutes. For all ms323 users who cannot manually install apks because they can't open security to tick "unknown sources", try installing via adb. Copy desired apk to where your adb is and then type, for example:

To fix this just enable the soft keys by downloading soft key enabler.Does anyone know what else could cause the hardware keys to not work properly? I'm posivite i've flashed the right aboot.bin for the D320N variant . The back key works but the menu key acts like the home key and the home key does nothing :/
I try to be funny from time to timeI like how you used the redtube app as an example![]()
Just finished. Here is the link: https://www.mediafire.com/?yiuc8cyfbr1tm1o just download that to your desktop and run it. Move your app to the desktop and rename it "app". With no quotation marks.I will make a batch file for that. Expect it in the next 45 minutes.
