Unofficial Incredible Wallpaper Thread

I don't have my Dinc yet, so I've no idea if this'll work, but using the recommended resolution (960x800), I took my favorite Mandolux wallpaper and cropped it accordingly. The net result is as follows:

mandoluxnightblurl2560a.jpg

I ordered on the 20th, so it'll still be a week or two till I see my phone. Anyone wanna give me feedback on whether this'll work?

I don't have my Dinc until 6/3, so I haven't done anything with these wallpapers to make then useful on the Droid. I thought I would upload them for you all to play with anyway.

I noticed the one by Wayne was out of proportion, so I re did it whilst I did the others. Hope you don't mind Wayne.

no prob at all, as you can tell I just do a simple re-size, with irfan view. I wouldn't even try the small icon one.
I'm sure more than one of us would appreciate a short tut on resizing while maintaining aspect ratio's .
esp. if your using irfanview, gimp or paint.net

on a side note, I'm coming from the omnia also

I use Photoshop to resize them, GFX Design is one of my hobbys, so I know quite a bit about PS.

1. If you can get a copy of PS or GIMP, instead of using infraview, more choice.

2. If its a picture of something significant like building, when you try stretching it looks bad. So basically you make the photo Larger the th result you are wanting, and then try to crop out sections but keeping the main focus of the photo.

3. With the certain photos like the on with the white building in... You can cut the top off and re-paste it, if it lines up, there fore creating more sky.

4. With the logo one, i just cut the logo out, resized it, and pasted back onto a green background, centered it as much as i could.

Hope this helps in anyway.

*Side Note*

Cool i love my omnia, and still ain't perfectly sure I did the right thing, we shall see, just Windows 7 software for phones is horrible, and can't do too much more with my Omnia... I will miss the camera on it tho, I hope someone can make some software like the omnia cam has for our Incs...
