This could be me being stupid. But don't you want the pic to be bigger then 480x800 so you get the transition effect of seeing a slightly different part of the pic as you go from panel to panel?

Very interesting thought. I wonder how an exact sized wallpaper will look when jumping between panels.

Yeah, pretty sure they should be 960x800. Although a lot of mine are 960x854 (MotoDroid) sized, won't be hard for anyone to resize w/ paint, gimp or PS.

The size to make the home screen wallpapers is 960x800.
 
Are any of these "live" wallpapers? How are those being made or can they be made for the Incredible?

or reverse so the screen fades black to red while the back fades red to black...or rotate the image. That works too.
