Root unrevoke 3

What is asking you if you want to update? Are you talking about going back to hboot?

EDIT: Sorry missed your last post. So you got recovery flashed ok, then? What update were you prompted for? If you have the latest OTA, you shouldn't be prompted for anything. What did it say. Declining it was smart, but I'm just curious. Anyway, since you have the latest radios, there is no no need to flash them. You'll need to whenever get a new OTA, but you're good for now. As for ROM choice, Myn's is fine. I'm using Mikfroyo 4.4 right now, as it's a little lighter weight, and runs a bit faster. They're both good choices. There are many threads in this section about ROM choices, so look around if you want to try something else. As for kernel choice, I recommend you stick with the stock kernel for a couple days, or at least a couple charge cycles after flashing a ROM. Then decide from there if you want to try a different one.

Yes, hboot wants to update again so i decline and decline a reboot and went to recovery. I'm flashing Myn's right now. Thanks for all of your help, you're the best. BTW, how do you know all this stuff, do you work in the industry?

Oh, that, haha. Sorry, I failed to mention that you need to remove the PC36IMG.zip file from your sdcard, or it will prompt you to flash it every time you go to hboot. I'll update the instructions in that thread.

Don't worry, you'll pick up on everything quickly :). I just do an awful lot of reading. And I do work with computers every day, so I guess that helps...
