Root Unrevoked for Incredible (Recovery reflash tool/Easy root method)

reflash tool just corrupted my sd card... great... "error reading external cache" lost a couple days of pictures.. so not the worst thing ever but not great... just a warning for everyone.

Edit: PC will still read SD card in usb debugging. I'm going to try to pull files off, reformat and then put files back.

Edit2: Debugging and rebooting at the same time, the card worked again.. ran reflash, worked.

UPDATE: I Deleted HTC Sync and it worked perfect!!:)

Ok well I am not an absolute noob, I got my DIC to root and have been around phones alot but getting the unrevoked to work - I just can get it...

I have installed the USB Drivers and that all went perfect...

I have USB Debugging ON

I Plug in my USB and startup unrevoked and it goes to Waiting for Bootloader and then it goes to HBOOT..

Wait a bit and it goes right to HBOOT USB Boot and it reboots then the unrevoked says waiting for reboot and that never stops...

Ends up not working...

Any help?

Mods, the first working link for the tool is at post #105 on page 3 of this thread ever since the merge. The link in the first post is the "coming soon" page. Assuming you'd like to have the active link on page 1?

Edit: NM I'm an idiot. Didn't see the links in the quotes at the bottom of first post.

Do you still have HTC Sync installed on your computer? If you do, that is your problem. I had the same issue....seems like it would still work, but when I uninstalled HTC Sync, it worked fine!

Edit: Just seen the edit, sorry! lol

Ok I got a problem. whenever I start the reflash.exe it just says "Waiting for device. Plug in phone now and enable USB Debugging." I have downloaded the new drivers, Unistalled HTC Sync. I am lost. And I can't find the Instructions on how to do this anywhere in that file that I downloaded. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea i found on xda they showed how to install them. I had to go into hboot and install the the android bootloader something. Is that the right one?

it must have been a problem with the drivers. i re-installed them and now it is in the process of doing it right now. Thanks alot.
