Yeah we had a bunch of severe thunderstorms roll in this afternoon here, so i'm on wifi tether and its really slow for some odd reason. I had it ready to go just before the other thread was posted but it took a couple minutes to actually get sent. I'm also downloading the tool at the same time so that compounded things.

so what exactly does this do? Will i be able to restore my phone to the way it was from the factory for warranty reasons if i use this?

that's my main concern, if i have an issue on my phone, if i will be able to return my Droid Incredible to factory like software so i can get it replaced or worked on at a Verizon store

I believe it works also I am in the process of doing it had to run as admin on windows 7 64 bit. will report when i figure out if it work waiting for system to settle now....
