I've looked for some other apps that will root my phone but I guess there ain't one out yet. I'm just wondering will the unrevoke work? What are the chances of my phone brickn up usen the unrevoke software? Thanks

Welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

You will find all your answers here:)

Do you have 2.2 or 2.3? Unrevoked will only work with 2.2 and Revolutionary will work for 2.3.;)

Did you update to GB?
Check your hboot version (volume down + power) if It's 2.16 or above, you need to use revolutionary. Check the top of the forum for the revolutionary sticky. Read it a couple of times, then post if you have any questions. :)

Edit: Andy got here first. :D

First, we need to find out what you current hboot version is. Power your phone off, then hold volume down+power til the white bootloader screen comes up. If it boots normally go to Settings>Power and uncheck Fastboot then try and go to hboot again.
