hey i need help updating my htc evo
im running a mik G rom 2.61
hardware v 0003
soft v 2.3.3
sense 2.1
right now my phone sucks i cant even play a card game without it freezing and re-loading can someone send show me how to update the rom and htc sense

all you need to do is flash the new rom. what recovery do you have? i would recommend amon ra 2.3, if you are not on it already.

use this guide:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. skip the rooting part and go to the after root section. it has info on things like how to switch recoveries and how to flash a rom.

here is mikg3.11:MikG v3.11 [3/9/2012]. just download the full wipe version.

also do not forget to make a nandroid backup before flashing a rom.

and just an fyi, if you have issues with freezing and force closures of apps and such then i would try and wipe dalvik cache and cache. most of the times that will fix most issues.

bc i was rushing i erased my sd card now i think i bricked my phone it turns on to the bubble page that has all the colors and time at the top but it doesnt turn off and wount open into bootloader any suggestions/help
right now my sd card is in my cpu

If you can get into recovery the phone is not bricked.

Pull the battery, put it back in, and hold power + volume down

From there go to recovery. You can mount your SD card to your PC through the recovery as well

it just sounds like you are running a rom that uses a2sd and a partition and you wiped it.

Sounds like you just need to reflash the rom.
