Do i do this via the app link2sd or mount sd-ext via recovery?

First u need to partition ur SD card.
Partition ur sd card with size of 512mb n swap 32mb , select partition type as EXT 2 or EXT3. u can do it in recovery..

After partitioning install link2sd n select ur partition type to mount. go to setting of link2sd n check d option of auto link, check option of install location.. should b automatic..
From now on all ur iinstalled programs will be linked to ur SD-EXT..

m on hybrid v1.2.1..wrks pretty gud..hws hybrid v2..I've been reading d posts..n it appears 2 have sum probably..n wrks changes r der in case of luks?..I lyk d black taskbar in v1.2.1..reply soon..

Some apps changed, some tweaks, adobe flash is working and black taskbar wasn't der in v1 nor in v2 maybe u hve flashed ashwas customizations

@shoebmad i suggest btr try the v1 as this v2 is lot much laggy and as u have written the link is down for v1 then for the time being the dev re-upload it go for the "froyo cream sandwich v1.5" or "the one" rom

@jas2090:thanks a ton for the link i'll be trying them out....right now I'm using leandros 2....I really liked it...I even tried hybrid v3 but the package installer is giving problems there hence leandros 2.....i'll download both tonight n looking forward to hybrid v1...

N yeah that reminds me I really was interested in "the one" rom but the link was deleted from the thread due to some piracy prob....if possible can you PM me the link to that rom too...it'll be a great help...
