Root UPDATE [ROM] Hybrid v2 ( WOrking flash )

Its considered rude to blow ones own trumpet Jass. But i guess the lil formalities and etiquette are forgotten on ninnys like you.
 
Leave it guys don't fight over it now. I don't blow my own trumpet though, anyway testing and modifying v2 sorry buds will take time but will not be a disappointment now.
 
no diabolic head that rom also lacks a2sd darktremor script,moreover it doesn't even identifies the sd-ext so its very neccesary as this is the only feature lacking in hybrid v1 and the flash part which according to all of you lacked,i managed to get flash even 10.3 to run in any of the rom ie in stock,leandros,asevmaxx v1,v2 droidmaxxx and hybrid also
and yes in all browsers except opera mini
so gautam your rom hybrid is marvellous but its darkside is that we can't install much apps to get the fun to ultimate level as menory gets filed by apps and its dalvik cache which without sd-ext is impossible(correct me if i am wrong) to move any where
 
@jas - how did u manage to get 10.3 work in any rom??
are u serious? can u provide us the apk and method of installing it......and some screenshots
 
Script method of Apps2sd puts lot of strain on the phone and sdcard, and causes MOST lag problems seen on 2.2, so better isntall simple a2sd off the market and use that, MUCH better and MUCH more reliable.

Can u please supply that apk and installation method.

i have asked gautam to contact me on that ,i will tell hi the whole procedure to check whether it runs on his new ROM if it comes to be successful i will be publicly releasing it
in the mean while somebody plz help me getting the sd ext to get it mounted in rom.
 
To mount the sd ext, go to recovery, mounts and storage and then mount ur sd ext...if still not happens I have updated hybrid but not yet uploaded it supports sd ext I auppose I checked by the method. U told me if u want I can upload screenshot
 
wats dis fuss abt flash.. install it nd d stock will support it.. so leave dat nd wrry bt odr features....

ny idea when u'l be bringing ur nxt rom gautam????
cause ive installd hd games ..thogh dey r nt showing ny significant lag bt still i'd lyk to try dem on a faster rom.....

gt racing for one...

Gautam,

SD-EXT is not working right now in my device..
Yesterday it was giving error of mounting but it got resolved by rebooting.
It happened 4 times. But today its giving same error of unable to mount-restart- and upon restart ,device doesn't start. You have to remove your battery and then again put into it and start again...

Plz check this issue.. .. .. .. .. :( :(

Hey Sentacy,
Look for a file ,11link2sd file in init.d and open it as text and verify these lines
#!/system/bin/sh
#added by link2sd
sleep 2
mount -t ext3 -o rw /dev/block/vold/179:2 /data/sdext2

mount -t ext3 -o rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /data/sdext2

Or copy that file to sd card and run it in script manager and then check link2sd for your apps.
 
I am creating a flash file...which will let ua all install sd ext in any rom maybe stock too .. will finilise it when go back home around 7 pm
