sounds like an issue with the drivers? press winkey+r and type devmgmt.msc and look for something along the lines of ADB when the phone is plugged in. I've had a similar issue.
 
Figured it out. I needed to reinstall the VZ drivers and then I had to change the USB setting to Ethernet>Modem.
 
Will this work for.lg.lucid? The root tool for the spectrum works for LG lucid. Just wondering if this is usable for lucid. If so I wwant to flash aokp41 to it, rocks on the spectrum

No. This is designed specifically for the partitions on the Spectrum and would more than likely brick your phone if you tried it on the lucid. You should go over to the Lucid forums and ask the devs there if they could put something together like this.

It's being worked on, but do not use our tool. One person did and bricked his phone.

I'm waiting for TDM to get back to me as the dmesg I was given doesn't provide me any clues as to why the screen isn't turning on, even thou everything else is working fine.
 
What's the button combo to get into cwm? I flashed aosp but no gapps so I don't have a reboot function.

This assumes that your system got really bad and you used the button combo (down vol + power, wait, power, power) to get into CWM the hard way as a last resort

I'm assuming you have all the proper drivers on windows installed...usb debugging enabled on the phone is enabled...phone is set to internet mode...if all these are yes then I'm guessing you are on internet - ethernet mode, if so, switch it to modem while your phone is connected to the pc and rerun the program. I found that modem mode works better than ethernet. If you are already in modem mode then switch it to ethernet.

There is no 'most likely' about it. This unlock is specifically for the Spectrum and because of software differences between the spec and lucid, it WILL brick any other device that you try to run it on.
