Root Updated to amon_ra, i need help!

I recently updated to amon ra because i couldn't boot into recovery mode with clockwork. I want to flash a new ROM (cyanogen 7). i did a backup, and i know i need to wipe some stuff now. On clockwork I would press wipe data and factory reset and then i would press wipe cache partition, then i would flash the new rom. On amon_ra it is slightly different. when i select wipe there are about 11 things i can wipe. i am wondering what i should wipe before i flash the new ROM.

btw i am a total noob and i don't really know what i'm doing, so keep it simple. :)

the 3 most important things to wipe are already (X) out... wipe those three and then run Calkulin's FORMAT ALL and then you're good to go...

Boot, system, data, cache are the norm. If your sd card is partitioned wipe sd ext, if you are running apps from the sd card wipe android secure

GEEZ, don't i feel like a schmuck... i believe that clockwork is the one that is already (X) out... had to boot mine into recovery to double check... 2, 3 and 4 down on the list are the ones that i wipe... cache, dalvik-cache and data... then Calkulin's Format All, just to be sure...
 
Welcome to the wonderful world of rooting!!! I'd also get caulkins format all. Amon ra is the way to go recovery-wise. Are you up on all that you need to do to get CM7 working? Like the gapps and so forth? If not, I'd check out cyanogenmod.com to make sure you get all the zips you need. Cm7 is sweet, but its an aosp ron, so it kinda requires some tweaking b4 it works as a fully functioning rom. If you're willing to put the time in, cm7 is a freaking sweet rom!
 
Calkulins just wipes boot, system, data, and cache for you, doesnt do anything special other than speed up the process and help you not forget. Not correcting anyone just informing noobs. I use calkulins also.
