[Verizon] best jelly bean rom?

I'm kind of surprised that no one said anything about Jelly Bro (CM 10). It is the most theme-able and feature rick rom on JB. I don't miss my aokp anymore.

As a person who formerly swore by Jelly Belly, I guess I'll throw in a mention for XenonHD 4.0.

I have run Xenon for about a week now, and it is FLAWLESS. Xenon 3 brought stability and functionality to the ROM... Xenon 4 added customization options. No doubt that Xenon 5 will - when it ever comes out - offer options akin to AOKP. I'm so confident of Xenon that I flashed it to my son's phone yesterday as a daily driver.

Don't get me wrong: Jelly Belly is great of you want straight stock. But I want a little bit more, and I love me some Xenon Jelly Bean! :D

It's really hard to find one that sucks. They're all great. In terms of best, you just have try and find out which is best for you.

I can vouch for liquid as well, the ICS version was perfect, longest running ROM on my phone to date. Team Liquid are some great developers!

Ok, I'm kind of a noob, but I've flashed Roms quite a bit. I'm fairly decent at it now. Just a big question, maybe it's complicated, I don't know. When I flash a new Rom, what can I do to keep as many customizations as possible. I always do as tibu and get my apps back. How about individual ringtones, system sounds that I have already set, maybe even home screen layouts? What do all of you pros do? I would assume that you don't sit there for hours like I do trying to get things back the way I had them.

I just use a very minimalistic setup. You can also take a screenshot of your homescreens to make it easier to remember where you had everything.

was running BAMF for a while till AOKP started running previews. i have been on AOKP P2, P3, P4, P5, P6, P7, and now the nightlies since they showed up. AOKP is the business.

I'd like to throw in a vote for the unofficial CM10 preview build. Working great and bug free so far! (Was running 7/24 build for days problem free, I am now on -Brint Kriebel- 8/4 build.)

If you want to make your phone look like no other then (1) JBSourcery or (3) Eclipse JB. But if you prefer something like a stock ROM then (2) BAMF. Your best bet though is to try them all giving at least 2 days on each. Thats how I found my 3 top favs.
Let us know how you decide.:-)

Hello,

Currently I am on Codename Android with the stock kernel. I came from ICS AOKP with Lean Kernel, and I see the major difference in my phone. I feel like my phone is brand new and I am an Android Beginner who is in the learning process to say all this. Everything has improved, and my phone is so buttery, smooth and stable so far. I will give this 24 - 48 hours to let all the data/system files to settle down, and I'll get back to you guys.

Looks like Codename Android is no longer going to be updating it's ROM as the developer was harassed by the admins of the rootz wiki website.

Just to clarify, BAMF is nothing like stock at all. You can apply themes with BAMF, it also has built in customizations such as LED notifications (colors, notifications by app, etc.), ad block, volume controls, custom carrier label, key reflections, search key, nav colors, glow, etc.It also has customized toggles as well. BAMF thread in this forum is really short because it's really stable. I heard BAMF 2.2 will be released Tuesday.

Just to clarify...

I stand corrected, I had a BAMF ICS and it looked close to stock, Got to admit it is about the most solid ROM...Didn't play much with the JB when it first dropped, it had a few bugs I couldn't resolve. tethering flat didn't work for me, I live in the boonies and my phone IS my internet...(not even Hughes Net or Clear gets here) I am sure they are fixed now BAMF was my daily driver for the longest on ics
I'll stick with Sourcery for now.
My apologies, surely didn't mean to lead anyone astray, or misinform someone.

^^Absolutely true.

(speaking generally now, not to any one person)
I'm a die hard BAMF fan as well but I've been loving JBSourcery since it was released recently. Most "fun" rom for the Gnexus IMO. You can almost get lost in the custom options. And also important to me, they now maintain a presence here on AF to answer questions and listen to user feedback.
