In Google now, how do I set my sports team? It's grayed out. Hmmm... Is it working? No? TIA.
 
nope, you must travel back to ICS and enjoy the goodness and stay away from the nasty black jelly bean, when aokp is released in jb, we can enjoy the pink and red jelly bean goodness :)
 
I've noticed the same problem and have been trying to figure it out. Maybe it knows that my sports team is in the offseason so it's not even trying to figure it out lol :-P
 
Google now works great for me. I asked it when the Atlanta braves played and now it always shows me their scores And when they play. I am using jelly belly 3.3. Google now even told me the traffic and travel time to my doctors appointment.
 
i'm still staying away from JB at the moment. I'm still seeing to many complaints with the quality of the current roms.
 
It never worked for me either Steven. Tried all of the tricks and nothing. To me jelly bean is flaky at this point. At least on verizon.
 
Voice search didn't work for me to get a card but the nav to work card is kinda cool. If I press on the nav icon on the card it does FC however. Needs a little debugging but an awesome tool. The voice search is amazing. Took me awhile to start asking more advanced questions, launching stuff etc. It does so much more than search in the past, I didn't know how useful it was till I started experimenting.
 
Thank you, guys. I did a voice search and it brought up my team and spoke the final score!!!
 
Yeah GNow is awesome loved it for 2 weeks now use it everyday. ;) Glad you got it Steven!

It's amazing to me how different, like diametrically different, people's experience can be with an OS on the same phone. JB on my phone is simply awesome. I have zero complaints. I had one random reboot on a very early version. Beyond that, it's been perfect.

I got a card on 1.6 jelly belly. 1st time I used GNow search I said "Atlanta Braves game" and it pulled up the score and date and time of their next game. I've had it ever since and can control if it shows before, after, or during the games. Or all of the above. After every new flash of a new version rom the card just reappears :)
 
Thanks for the tip about searching for teams. Pulled up the Cubs without issue.

Google Now is what Siri should have been.
