[Verizon] [KERNEL][4.0.4] LeanKernel 3.10.0 (7/2)

Been running 2.0.1exp1 with interactivex, set at 1350/350 all day....and got 6 random reboots today. Got stuck in messaging, phandroid, fb...etc. so: don't think its the app. Going back to 1.10 tonight...

Lean Kernel 2.0.1, 1200/350/Interactivex/1850mAh.

Screen turned off at 11:47PM @ 82%.
Screen turned back on at 8:16 AM @ 78%.

4% in 8.5 hrs.

Wished I got that much sleep each night I'd be so well rested :p

So crazy how different phones with different users and different apps act!

I am finding it pretty interesting to see what my Nexyness is doing with each of the roms and kernals....
Lean updated this morning with a new experimental....just installed. 2.1.0 exp1. Will see how it goes today, but my definite fall back is still 1.10 exp.

Wow extremely bad on 13.1? Have never heard this.

You can get imo's 1.10 stable here

My phone really hates franco's kernels too. Tried a couple of different versions, 13.1 included, and had the same experience Namrak did. It's weird, because most of you guys have such great battery with it, and frustrating, because the only kerne lmy phone likes is lean. And that's fine, but it doesn't give me many options to play around with.

I'm running 1.10 exp 2 I think...1.10 something anyway, and it's great.

My phone really only likes the stock kernels (.3 and .4) and the trinity RD NP kernel. Anything else is just meh as far as battery is concerned.

Lean kernel has never let me down. I'm on 2.0.1 stable using hot plug. No issues. I tried Franco 17 and got a freeze and then a never ending boot loop. Had to nandroid. I also tried faux kernel and had some restarts and camera issues.
My phone just loves leankernel

How is hotplugX compared to conservative for battery life and performance? I like conservative, but wondering if I could get even more battery life out of hotplug and was curious what other people's experience was.

I'm using 2.0.1 and so far with wifi and moderate usage, im happy with the battery life compared to stock kernel.

Now the real test is to see how it performs when I'm at work. I use my phone for heavy web browsing/email and my phone goes in and out of 4G/3G depending on the location.

Can wait to see what your batt stats are when you are at work! I love how there are so many kernel options for this phone!

Flashed 2.0.1, but not before using faux's reset kernel. Coming from Franco's 18. Was using hot plug mod from within his app and got the Sleep of Death. Went to bed last night with phone at 100% off charger and woke up to a battery pull about 7 hrs later. Never had a prob with hot plug mod...

I am on 4.0.4 so hopefully this kernel plays nice. It has in the past, most noticeably 1.10.

Report back soon!

Yeh, lets see some @ work screen time on numbers. My M3 with 2.0.1 really sleeps well on interactivex.

Okay, I have an update after using my phone at work. I was mainly using the phone for texting, checking email, web browsing and the occasional game of Words with Friends :D I also downloaded 181 MB in zip files and noticed my battery decrease during that session while having the screen on and using 4G. Speaking of 4G, it can drain the battery quite a bit. I didn't turn off 4G, but there were times my phone would go in and out of 4G and 3G (in the stairwells or elevator).

I think the big plus with this kernel is how well it saves battery life when you put the phone to sleep.

I haven't done any tweaks or mods for the CPU (just using AOKP B23). Any suggestions are welcomed. :)

That's a hell of a difference from the last screenshots you posted. What would you say the biggest factor in that was? The lack of good 4G signal?

EDIT: Ahh, I see. Wifi :D

I got the same goodness on M3 and 2.0.1 but am on B25 now and it dropped like a rock in sleep but I had it in 3G instead of WiFi.

A new flash and kernel is not to be judged yet but just sayin.
