I like when pictures tell a story. Heavy use today.
I don't know what they did with 4.0.4 but it is BY FAR better on battery. Can't wait for it to be added to AOSP.

Had to flash 2.2.0

Would you mind down sizing the screen shots so the whole image is at least visible with out scrolling? Mercy!

ROFL I knew you would not be able to hold out. Don't even try to convince anyone here that you will stick with one kernel for more than 2 days it is fruitless ole chap
and where is the screenie of your battery usage showing all the apps and their respective usage?? ehh?![]()

Gonna flash 2.2.0 now. 2.0.1 was killer (2% drain in 7.5 hours!), so I have high expectations to meet...may have to go back to 2.0.1 hehe. I'll give it a few days with 2.2.0 and see how it goes.
Any issues you guys have found so far with 2.2.0, for those who have flashed?
Got about 5 hours less after 3 charge cycles than 2.1.0. I ride kernels hard. Just flashed back to 2.1.0!
Does anyone use non OEM chargers? I only ask because when my wife's OEM chargers broke after 12 hours of purchase of her new phone back in Nov 11, VWZ mailed us its 3rd party charger for free. It charges phones sooo much slower than my OEM and when I charge my phone with it I seem to get better battery life. I haven't tested this scientifically but I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
Hmm, guess I'll see how 2.2.0 goes for me.
Hmm interesting theory on the battery/charger. I wonder if the rapid charging doesn't result in as good a charge?
.Has anyone used Wired Tether with this kernel? I'm pretty sure the kernel supports it, but when I start the app, it immediately tells me that my kernel isn't supported. I even tried switching to Franco Kernel and it says the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.
PdaNet does. And will run @ zero latency if given the opportunity so it likes 4G very well.
I'll try WT and let you know. Edit, never mind, that app is old stuff, go with PdaNet 3.02
It's a one time pay & Well worth it. Believe me. Very reliable and stable. The only quirk is if you get interrupted like taking a call, you need to stop the app & restart it.
Can I flash this over 2.0.1?
Yeah, I would pay for it if it didn't require a client install on the PC. I don't think that should be necessary, esp. when your device is rooted.
To me, if one shuns PdaNet because of an Andrew Jackson or a little client install, mercy. But to each his own. One of my main concerns with getting a new phone was if PdaNet would work or not.
I appreciate your feedback though. I still might purchase PdaNet for personal use, but I still need a better solution for my work machine.

Well, I have been running notrim5 for a couple of days now and have oc'd up to 1.65. I have not had one hiccup. It runs smooth and fast. Others are reporting high benchmark numbers but I don't subscribe to that.
@1.65 on iX, I lost a grand total of 2% overnight last night.
Guys, notrim5 is the real deal. You lose smartreflex at the cost of performance (due to throttling) but the trade off for performance to battery life is well worth it.
Where can I get this notrim? And what is smartreflex?
