Verizon Note 2 Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

Just left VZW company store locally. Mgr advised the delivery doesnt arrive until 11/29. I asked about reserving one. He said he would, but its not necessary as they are getting "plenty of them".
 
Just received an email with a FedEx tracking number!! The bad news, I ordered two phones at two different times, and I got a tracking number for just one of them. The infuriating part is that it's being shipped from West Chester PA, which is 10 minutes away from me, but I still have to wait for FedEx 2 day shipping.

Delivery date of the 29th. It's shipping from West Chester, PA. I am so excited!

Please tell me if this is going too far? Or if at all possible? I currently have a rzr maxx and am no where close to an upgrade and I am grandfathered in for VZW unlimited data . My mom has a VZW prepaid. I was told I could add her line to my family plan and get the GN2 on the new line for $299, then transfer GN2 to my line and still be unlimited data. If so on release day welcome to my family plan mom.

I don't think so.....any changes to the plan sucks you into shared data.

There is officially no way around the unlimited data loss except if you pay full price for the phone.

Some people on XDA were talking about a glitch that let you "keep" it but they've confirmed they lost their grandfathered data. Don't even mess with it, it's not worth it!

Paying full retail is the only way to keep your unlimited data (which I had to do!)
 
Two no's and one yes. I guess I will find out. If they say it is a slight possibility that I would lose my unlimited than of course I won't do it.
 
if you add your mom to a family plan, she will have 2gb

then u can just take the phone and activate it on your line

keeping your unlimited
 
Everyone needs to post a picture of themselves waiting outside by their door for the FedEx truck. Mad props for a video of anyone tackling the delivery person before they make it to your door
 
That's what I was thinking. Shoot I might give her my old voyager which doesn't require data. We'll see? Just release it already!!
 
Credit card has been charged, I'm thinking it will ship today because it said the same thing yesterday, maybe they won't send me tracking email until end of day or later should still get on the 29th. That's what tech told me when I did the pre order, that there were no delays in shipping. And feel comfortable knowing you would receive your note on the 29th.
