Wasn't on Sprint's or AT&T's site either but clearly listed on the box.

Just got my tracking number.
Good going Verizon...it's shipping right on time.
My only worry is that it has signature required, so I hope I'm home when they come.
Worst case senario, you get yours in the morning when the store opens. You can tell us how great it is while we wait for the FedEx truck....
yea im getting super skeptical of the places i called. that fact that nobody has it yet is making me this way. oh well thursday will be a good day!
Right...lol.
Like they say in my hood....Pics or it didnt happen!
It says signature required on my shipment notice so I'm sure that's the case.I'm pretty sure you'll have to sign. This is my biggest fear because I'm fresh outta college I'm working and living with my parents. We all get home right around 4 pm so I hope that the FedEx guy does not come before then. I don't want to wait another day or drive to the damn FedEx center, haha.
When I look at my plan, it says "Unlimited Data". There is no "Unlimited only on 3G, but you only get so much data on 4G." Data is data whether transmitted via 3G or 4G. And my data is unlimited according to my plan.
And, this purchase of the Note II is still confirmed by the Internet Sales Manager that I'm continuing to keep my unlimited data. That means unlimited 3G and unlimited 4G.
As long as I keep purchasing phones at full price, I will continue to keep my unlimited data until VZW does away with unlimited for good, which right now is limited to those that have been grandfathered.
My Local VZ Store reports having 2 in stock. They had actually told me they had no information. Then specifically called me back to say they had 2 in stock. I asked if I could come buy one and they told me they couldn't sell them til Thursday. So I'm betting on thursday being the in store date and will be waiting on thursday morning when my store opens.
Just to calm some nerves I thought I'd post. I'm a VZW employee who also pre-ordered the Note 2. When I check my order status through the website it say's "Your order is currently being processed......" which I'm sure a lot of you also see. HOWEVER, when I check the internal order system with my pre-order confirmation it shows me it's shipped today. It seems that the orders status system just hasn't caught up with the shipments. So you can rest assured that even if it says processing as long as you pre-ordered it will ship today. I did the pre-order yesterday and its shipped. You just may not get your shipping confirmation until later tonight. I agree that it wasn't executed as well as pre-orders in the past. Usually those that pre-order get the phones before they are available in the retail outlets. Thats what makes it worth pre-ordering. This time however it seems they will arrive in stores on the 29th which is the day we'll receive our pre-orders. So this time the only benefit on pre-ordering is ensuring you get one and not having to go to a store. The downside is you could go to the store at 9am on the 29th and get it quicker than FEDEX will probably get to you.
PS - For the person that asked about keeping the Unlimited Data Plan. There are no 4G unlimited plans. Regardless of whether or not you purchase at Full Retail you would have to go a 4G data plan of which there are 3 for Nationwide Plans and various choices for Share Everything.
Well great! I really hope it does. Always good to have a few pairs floating around!
That I don't know. I'm assuming, since they are stickers that you can stick them to the keychain to enable it as an NFC tag. You program it as you see fit.
It says signature required on my shipment notice so I'm sure that's the case.
I work from home Thursday, but the challenge will be to get to the door in time. It seems like the fedex guy rings the doorbell once then makes a mad dash back to the truck.
The NFC keychains I bought already have the chip inside and doesn't need a tag attached to it.
Isn't it that you don't have to pay an additional fee to tether but you're still limited to your plan bandwidth? And hell, while your at it, you can still tether your device to other wifi-capable devices for free with unlimited 4G data usage at no extra charge! (Assuming you're using the grandfathered unlimited data package)
Want sauce? Here you go: Let my Wi-Fi go: FCC rules Verizon can't charge for Wi-Fi tethering | ZDNet
unless you have a grandfather'ed unlimited plan.Isn't it that you don't have to pay an additional fee to tether but you're still limited to your plan bandwidth?

Scum because they choose to market another more exclusive device first???It's pretty annoying to me that Verizon is holding this device back, probably because of the Htc DNA, which isn't even the same type of device IMO. Verizon is such scum.
They haven't even issued the press release like they normally do on the Tuesday before a phone launches. It seems like they're hoping this launch goes bad so they can say to Samsung "your phone didn't do that well, so the next time you launch a flagship we're doing it our way." Remember, this is the same carrier that didn't even want the Samsung Galaxy S2, and we know that was because everyone else had it. And now they're imposing their will on Samsung with all the unnecessary branding with the Note 2. It's just Verizon's MO because they're the big bad carrier on the block with the most money and customers, and everything has to go their way. Oh well, I'll have my device in a couple of days and won't care a bit! It's pretty annoying to me that Verizon is holding this device back, probably because of the Htc DNA, which isn't even the same type of device IMO. Verizon is such scum.
