Don't forget group 3.5 - Why did my day one pre-order ship date get changed to 7/11 with no explanation??? :(

group 4b here, I'm expecting my order to ship in the next few days and arrive early next week.

Honestly, I would be amazed (but not surprised) if we didn't see almost everyone's pre-order ship tomorrow or friday. it's just bad form for people to be receiving these more than a day after official launch.
 
Finally got to the end of the thread, and now my rant...

Preordered 6/6 the 32GB Blue and no e-mail. Website still says processing with an expected date of 7/9. Seems like everyone around me (Atlanta, GA) is getting theirs, why not me!!! Even my buddy who ordered DAYS after me, though he got the 16, got a confirmation. I JUST WANT MY DAMN PHONE! NOW! Ok, Thanx, I feel a lil better.

And I know if I get it before the 9th it will be early, just seems unfair people order after me and get theirs before.

Probably shipped from Memphis due to stock on hand. Would you rather have it ship from PA a day later due to stock. And it will be there today. The Left FedEx origin time is leaving the MEM station. The Arrived at FedEx Location is the arrival at the MEM hub. MEM hub was 'shut down' Tuesday night, July 3rd, for the July 4th holiday. Normal operations resumed last night, July 4th. It will be in the air and in PA within the next few hours.

Who wants to be in my shoes? Ordered 5 hours into the first day, still nothing on my phone, and tomorrow I've got to go out there and deliver SIIIs to other people!

Mine shipped today from PA via 2 day service! I ordered on the 18th I think. Says delivery date by 7/9, but even with the holiday, shouldn't it technically arrive on the 6th? I hope I get it early. Can't wait!:D

Well so much for getting it this week :(

The VZ email said shipped on 7/3, so I was hoping to have it by Thursday or Friday.
 
So I got the email telling me my phone was shipped and got a tracking number so I get super excited and check Verizon:

Mine did the same thing, but not long after it showed in the system. I wouldn't worry too much about Fedex not having the tracking number in their system yet.
 
I hope the driver of the truck my phone is loaded on gets his ass to work on time this morning. No stopping at DnD or Starbucks (not sure what they get paid).

I don't want him to be late and trying to make up time on that hellhole I-95 (New Jersey Turnpike). All we need is for him to run off the road into a ditch or swamp somewhere. I should call one of those WIDE LOAD escort services and order two of them to help guide him to NY. Anyone want pitch in for the cost?

I had that same status, but when I just checked this morning, it said it was just picked up in PA. It also said its a 2day delivery. So I guess Friday.



I just hope they leave it. I'm gonna leave a really sweet note to the FedEx guy. Man, I wish it was going UPS. I know him.....If i have to deal with this htc incredible phone one more day, I'm gonna kill someone!!

Business closed - No delivery attempt

Ummm, wut? I assume this is just due to yesterday's holiday. Linwood, PA is maybe 20 miles from my house, so maybe today. I'm in NJ, so they have to cross a bridge from PA, so sometimes that adds an extra day.
 
Does anybody know what we should do to activate? I read the instructions for do it yourself with the sim card. I never had a sim so that is new to me. My phone is almost here, only an hour away =), and when I activate it later I would like to just do it myself but I am afraid of the unlimited data thing. I have the email and everything that shows unlimited data on my new plan. I think with that I should be able to just do it myself and if something goes wrong then I could go to the store and show them the email...Any thoughts on this? If I can't do it myself and keep the unlimited then I can't activate my phone until after 5 on Friday. It will just be here for a day and a half not being used =(
 
Yeterday my email said shipped on the 3rd. Now a revised email said it was picked up today for delivery on the 9th. I guess no Saturday delivery...wtf!!

How did you and your friends pre-order your phone? Via talking to the Customer Service rep on phone, preorder at a Store, or preorder online? I wonder if that has something to deal with the shipping dates. For the rest of you guys that are getting the phone this week, how did you preorder?

Im in the same boat as you and im from Atlanta. I preordered with a customer service rep by phone.
