Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

No worries Mr Moderator. Ya I started with the 16gb and saw the discount and I was like ummm is this a glitch? So I backed out and tried the 32 and I was was like ummmm I got really lucky or I am going to get a nasty surprise on my credit card. So I got a nice deal and UNL Data :) And I new battery comes for my X today so hopefully my phone will last more than 1 hour now.
 
Blue seems to be popular did I make a mistake with white? Has anyone seen a review of the U.S version of the phone? All the ones have seen are with the global version.
 
Only difference is color.. ordered the 32gb one myself! I just know i'll end up getting the white one dirty after a while. Plus, I plan on having this phone a while so the extra storage space should keep the phone with plenty of space for at least a year.
 
ordered 16gb Blue through bestbuy.

Got an extra $50 off due to their "phone freedom" discount.

Dont have an offical price that I will pay yet, as I have to pay at pickup


Only thing I forgot to check was the ulim data. But it should be the same as ordering through the VZ website.
 
Preordered the 32GB pebble blue with only an $80 3G to 4G discount! How'd you guys get $150?! I'm assuming it's based on which minutes plan you have?

Either way, I was ECSTATIC when I saw that! :)

Also, my confirmation email says Shipping on 6/6/12 as well. Let's just hope this is a happy glitch and some warehouse employees start shipping out S3's today! XD

Edit: Oh, and still grandfathered into the Unlimited Data!

I did not even think about it getting dirty!!!! Oh well I guess its to late now:(
 
I am wondering if someone can help me out. When you log onto my verizon, does it show anything about you upgrading. I am worried that BB didn't process my order through VZW (they did take my account info) and I wont get grandfathered into ulim data.

When I did mine I went through the upgrade option selected the S3 chose unl data and got my phone for 40 bucks :)
 
Yeah, according to the upgrade plan, it still has me down for unlimited data. As far as the white phone getting dirty, I'm sure extra battery covers won't be too much $ and a case for a phone is always a good idea!
 
just got through to Best Buy. They said the BB preorder is through BB only. Verizon will show no record of me upgrading until the phone arrives. He also said that the vzw rep (standing next to him) said they will not be getting rid of unlimited before the S3 comes out. Said probably in Sept

My only reason to stay with BB is that I get an extra 50$ off. What does everyone think? Should I cancel my BB preorder and just go through VZW?

I don't think you made a bad choice. If the blue actually turns out to be greyish? I'm going to sell mine. I think the white looks sleeker from the photo's. The white also doesnt look blingy. Which is good. Almost an off-white.

I dont know how BB works, but if they get it a week later and you can wait? You're saving 50 bucks. That's how i'd look at it. Tomorrow will always be there...
 
I was trying to order a white 16G at full retail for $599.99

Does anyone know why when I get to the last page it shows $641.24 due?

My account still shows that I am eligible for upgrade, but if I try to go through the process, it says that I have purchased a phone already. I pre-ordered through VZW so not sure when the BB orders get processed.
 
Haven't had a new phone in almost 2 years, so I called Verizon to pre-order to see if I could get any discounts. Got a white, 32 gb for FREE. Kept unlimited data. Only charge was the $30 upgrade fee.
