Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

Well good news today. Just Tuseday evening i was shocked to find my phone had changed ship dates from the 9th to the 11th for no reason and there was an error with my order. Just checked and it had a tracking number that had not been scanned in yet(im guessing it will today between 5pm-10pm.) It should be shipping from tx so anybody who will be getting theirs shipped from tx should know that they have phones there as well.

well, at least Nebraska is somewhat close to Fargo. getting closer.


I'm still thinking a lot of us won't even have ours shipped by our estimated ship dates, the 9th in my case.
 
WOW!!! Just got the order has shipped email from VZN, so I checked the tracking number expecting a Monday delivery date... It's being shipped Priority Overnight and will be here tomorrow!!!

I take back every bad thought I've had towards VZN over the past 48 hours... :D

To those still waiting, hang in there!!!

Well no love for me yet and I'm near Ft. Worth. Maybe they are shipping via Pony Express here. Damn, hope the banditos don't cause any problems.
 
I pre-ordered from Costco, does anyone have information about when they will ship out their orders? Costco.com stills has the expected launch date as 7/12.
 
This is torture, how long is it taking you guys to activate your s3? I turned off my old phone, put in 4g sim card in s3, and am waiting for the activate to go through... im not missing any steps am i?:mad:

25 minutes after I posted this, I got my shipping confirmation. Already in FedEx's system. Shipping from Memphis. Delivery type set to Standard Overnight, says it will be here by 4:30 pm tomorrow to Statesville, NC

Are you "Activated" folks getting the Dropbox upgrade to 50gb? There were rumors that the VZW version would not work for this.
 
What I have been thinking, I Pre-ordered my S3 from a verizon retailer on the June 22nd with a ship date of the 11th. Been checking my shipping status and still says in process, but if the S3 is to be in stores on the 10th, would that mean the store would tell me I can come pick up my phone on the 10th? My card was obviously charged by the store immediately once I ordered it so I have nothing to go off of for where my phone is :'(
 
Well my son texted me a picture of the fedex box that he signed for. It may be worse knowing its at my house and i can't get to it.
 
I'm Curious as to what's the latest someone pre-ordered that has received shipping info. Mine was ordered on the 19th and I keep checking for an update, but nothing yet. I hope it comes early, but am not counting on it.

I'd like to know this as well. I was holding out on pre-ordering (regretting that now) and finally did at about 10:30pm on 6/27 upon checking the XDA forum for the SGS3 and seeing in large red letters that anyone pre-ordering after the 27th would lose their unlimited data. Called a VZW rep and ordered right away. I figure it'll either ship today or mayhaps tomorrow. I'm just hopeful I'll have it by the 10th (my birthday)
