Baron you are looking a little flush to me. Might want to go home and take care of that. Do not want to make others at work sick too. :):smokingsomb:

I concur !

The funny thing is, I know at least 1 employee of mine who has pre-ordered it. I'm just waiting for it to happen. (I would totally let her go home if she came clean about it.... just saying ) lol

I had to call TMO to activate and provied them with the sim card serial number. After that it took about 25 min. to activate.

Nope - I got my S3 here in PA about 2 hrs ago. I charged the battery right out of the box and waited until I got the green light - fully charged. Inserted the 4G SIM card and my 32gb Samsung MicroSD card and fired it up. I selected the language at the first screen prompt and it started an activation process. I powered it down and figured I'd call Verizon for activation. The tech at Verizon confirmed that he didn't have the "access" codes or some internal phone ID # in his system to activate the phone. He took my home phone number and promised to call back after reaching out to find out what was going on.

He thought that since Verizon may have rushed out some of the early orders (I pre-ordered June 6 at 7 am) that the activation information hasn't been updated.

OK - the phone is nice though. I just can't use it.

I have a theory (it could be bunnies). Did anyone else who is getting 2 day shipping rather than overnight have the phone delivered to an address other than your billing address? I'm just wondering if there was fine print somewhere that said in order to get free overnight, you had to ship to the billing address. Like I said, just a theory - there must be a reason.

Late to the cheering, but I finally got my shipment notification with overnight delivery :D Will be here tomorrow. Guess I'll look at your guys pictures until then!

I got 2-day and I shipped to my billing address.

How long until we find out about our phones bootloader? How about rooting- can it be rooted? Does it have the same S-Off problem the Inc 2 had for a long time?

Tis bettah' to be late, than to not be there at all.

First line to "The Best Buy Blues".

I have plenty of leave to burn, or else lose it. So I just took the rest of the day off and am awaiting delivery. :)

I am a Software Engineer so I have a very flexible schedule. All they ask of me is to make sure I get my time in however that may be. I RARELY get JUST my time in. I am almost always WAY overtime (for free) so I do not feel bad about taking a few hours off for things like this.

New to the forum!

I ordered mine on 6/7, got an email yesterday that it's shipped by FedEx 2-day service. I don't know why VZW is shipping some phones overnight and not others. Mine is supposed to be here on Monday. I live in CO near Denver.

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that VZN was targeting as many phones as they could for today and tomorrow. They could probably only fill so many overnight orders and so many next day orders per day. I haven't seen anybody that has had them shipped today that were not overnight for delivery tomorrow.

For whatever reason mine is shipping priority overnight vs. standard. The only difference I see between the two is that Priority has Saturday delivery available so those that are still waiting maybe Saturday deliveries are in the works...

That's cruel. I'm already psychologically prepared that if I don't get notice today then my phone isn't coming until next week. Then you go throw that Saturday delivery thing out there, dragging out my potential agony another day!:bawling::bawling:
