Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

I have to respectfully disagree to some extent. I knew within a day that the Razr had excellent reception. I also knew within less than a day that the Nexus had horrendous reception.

Not to make anyone mad, but I think I currently hold the latest pre-order date with a pending shipping confirmation. On the 'Order Status' page, I now show a tracking number section w/ the "+" sign. No tracking number yet, but based on previous posters, I should expect one within the next 12 hours. I'm guessing I'll have the phone Monday.

Pre-ordered 6/17 (in the evening)

Has anyone who ordered beyond the 20th seen any movement either in their credit card acct or pre-order status page? I ordered mine late in the evening on the 27th and have yet to see anything. Still says expected ship date of July 11th :-/
 
I ordered my GS3 on June 24 so a lot later than most people. But when I check the status online only the preconfirmation number works and it still says

We received your order and it is in process.
Expected Ship Date: 07/11/2012


I'm guessing they're processing orders in line and my actual order number will work once they charge my CC?

I get home from work at 4 o'clock. If I missed the delivery The fedex office is 3 miles from my house and I can pick it up after 530 that day.

I'm just going to concede it wont be this week .

So, I will just have to drown my sorrows and find the perfect purse to put my new phone in. Time to shop ! lol

UPDATE.... there is a (+) now !!!!

Now it's been "sent for processing " !!!! OMG !!!!

Credit card charged X3 !!!! Oh man!, Now if they send them overnight with Sat. delivery, all will be well in the world !

If it ships today, and it is 2nd day shipping, you're looking at a tuesday delivery.
 
WTF still nothing, like they skipped the pre orders for the 14th!!

Maybe they are doing like cental states and east coast first and it doesn't matter when you ordered? input?

Yes these were dummy phones but I'd have to agree with others that have said the home button looks purple. It absolutely has a purple hue to it, no doubt about it. And it absolutely reminds me of my GNexus without a doubt. I just hope I enjoy it more then the GN. If not and it runs pretty much the same as the GN then I may just root the GN and sell the SIII. Oh man, you've gotta root your GNex!!! It's so much better once it's rooted (I'm partial to AOKP). But, I doubt you'll be going back to the GNex once you start rocking the SGS3.

Maybe something like that. I'm in florida. I'm sure it has to to do with where you ordered, which color, size,etc..

I ordered on the 8th and I'm on East Coast. Other people in my state ordered almost a week later and have been shipped. I haven't even been charged yet, and my expected ship date went from 7/9 to 7/11.

I'm almost 100% certain at this point that they are randomly choosing orders to ship.

Even standard overnight won't get it to you tomorrow. And if it doesn't ship today you may not have it until wednesday. Sorry.
 
I confirmed with Verizon that unless at the time of your order you specified Sat delivery?

Then you will get it Monday. I am in same boat as you mine shipping today and they would not let me pay for Saturday delivery because they would have to restart the order.

Probably once the truck gets back to the distribution center BUT I would call FedEx just to be sure.

Yeah, I might just give up wathing for it and just say screw it for now, 4 days at this point till it's expected to ship.
 
Just called verizon. They said the phone usually ships the same day that the CC is charged. She said she will look into where my tracking number is and send me a txt in a few hours, hopefully with the tracking number.
 
I ordered two S3 on 6/16 at my vzw store. My cc charged this morning and I now have a + next to my order. I was told overnight when I ordered them, I am hoping for overnight,and have them tomorrow.

2. CC charged
3. + sign shown (on order status page)
4. No ship date yet (on order status page)
5. Hurry up and come to me!!

2. Delivery: 07/09

Nice, very nice! Congrats! Texas is getting the love finally. Mine were showing pluses last night around 6-7 I think and around 8-9 this morning, tracking numbers were showing up.

Tracked in FedEx's system. Showing shipped out of Memphis this morning with Monday delivery before 3. Shipping is showing Standard Next Day. I don't think you will see Sat. delivery though. I would guess that best case will be Monday. Shipping to DFW versus Houston is likely about the same and mine was processed before yours, so I think it will be Monday for you as well.

IF I see that they arrive at my local distribution center tonight or early tomorrow, I'm calling FedEx to see if I can pick up Sat afternoon though. <fingers crossed>
