[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

If you're on franco14.1 and are not experiencing any issues (you shouldn't be unless your further UV'ing the kernel) you don't have to flash 14.2. If you're a heavy UV'r then 14.2 will yield more stable results.

Build 21 AOKP is looking mighty cool some really neat features being worked on!

So should I flash new jb? Benefits to new vs what I'm on?

It's up to you nothing groundbreaking in the .2 release. From everything I read on XDA this morning it looks like the only difference between 14.1 and 14.2 are stability additions if you like to undervolt lower than what comes with stock. Either way I think you'll see the same performance and battery life on both. But I know some of us, like me!, need to be on the latest greatest lolz :p

edit: oh yeah sorry BB's you are on 13.1. Yes I think 14.1/.2 is a little faster than 13.1 was. Keep 13.1, if you've liked it, on your sdcard so it'll be there in case you want to go back. So yes, 14.2 would be worth the upgrade imo :)

Its very stable. I use Franco's 13.1 kernel I think. Battery is pretty good. I can get a solid 3 hours of screen on and a total of between 5 and 7 with heavy usage.

Just flashed it and also Franco's newest kernel which is now 14.2 (from his app). You should really buy it if you like his work.

Too early to tell. ROM seems nice, but I still think Redemption has it in the speed category. But, its early on.

You using Lightflow on this ROM?

So are you guys running build 20 or milestone? Thinking of giving it a go again, but not sure. Redemption has been good to me.

Thanks.

See my signature. I try this and that kernel and come back to 1.6.6exp3.

6hrs sleep last night lost 2% from 85% to 83%. I always have 4G & Wifi toggled on. I do not live in a 4G area but travel through one often.

I've been getting bad battery life compared to stock. This is on #20 with included kernel. Went from 24 hours with lite use to 5 hours lite use. Flashing Leankernel 1.7.3 now.

Flashed earlier today. Running with Franco's kernel 14.2. Its pretty smooth so far. Not quite as fast as Redemption. Battery life not as good either, but will try to hang in here for a few days to test it out. Lol.

Im back to my flash whoring ways. :p

Welcome back to the club. :D

Heh. I do see it does not show in all my posts. Hm?

Verizon LTE Galaxy Nexus / AOKP Build 20 ROM / Imoseyon 1.7.3 Kernel / 4.0.3 Radios / No Theme, Just Inverted Gmail, Inverted Messaging, and Inverted People On Black Wallpaper ~

I've also noticed that signatures only show up "some of the time." Wierd.

Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I've noticed while in an app (I've experienced this with facebook and little empire) and in landscape sometimes the navigation bar disappears.

I have a feeling B21 with Leankernel 1.6.6 exp3 is going to be the "one". For me, anyway.

I can't imagine what other kind of tweaks Roman could add after 21. Actually, I spoke too soon, status/notification bar transparency. Other than that, though, I can't imagine haha.

Flashed build 20 with Lean 1.7.3. So far so good.

Question: Anyone able to get the lockscreen customization to work right? On the vanilla lockscreen, I fatpad the camera button sometimes (i.e., sliding my thumb over to unlock, but the fleshy pad part of my hand hits the camera unlock.... took me forever to figure out what I was doing).

So I'd love for Unlock and Camera to be on the right side and nothing on left.

I'm still on 19, but iirc you can choose quad lock, then set 2 of your custom apps to unlock and camera. They will be located at 3 o'clock and 1 o'clock respectively. Then set blanks for the other 2 custom apps. Should work you're going to have to play around with it

Yeah that is where I get a lot of info. I also like to browse github and aokp's feature/bug list here

I have yet to have this happen but I have seen some people reporting it. Are you on 20?

It can always be improved upon :D

In the ROM control/ at the very top /Lock screen Style. Its easy to miss because it looks like a header. Select something other than stock. :p
