[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

Did you get this figured out peepap? Are you doing all this flashing and wiping via Rom Manager? If so, don't use ROM manager and do you wipes then flash through CWM manually. Keep us updated!

Several ways. One being re-flash the ROM. If you have any custom mods or kernel installed presently, they will go bye-bye upon the ROM re-flash. Often the dev of a mod will incilude a flashable stock systemUI to go "back to stock"

edit: yeah what they said above me :p ^

I love sonny's themes used a few on the Inc. They are always so complete. I still have yet to try a theme on the GN, but since I've found my ROM and my kernel my finger is gettin' itchy! I'm still a big fan of the stock ICS look though, it hasn't worn off yet...
I got it to work somehow the aokp roms are the best from what I can tell lots of customization thanks for the help

Flashed build 20 with Lean 1.7.3. So far so good.

Question: Anyone able to get the lockscreen customization to work right? On the vanilla lockscreen, I fatpad the camera button sometimes (i.e., sliding my thumb over to unlock, but the fleshy pad part of my hand hits the camera unlock.... took me forever to figure out what I was doing).

So I'd love for Unlock and Camera to be on the right side and nothing on left.
Its working fine for me.

Yes, you can put just the camera and unlock icons on the right side. In Lockscreen Style select Octo, then in Lockscreen option select Camera for Custom app 2 for the 2 o'clock postion or Custom app 8 to for the 4 o'clock postion (the Unlock icon is at the 3 o'clock position) and leave the rest of the Custom apps Empty.

All the more reason to flash that is sexy

Just flashed it & reflashed leankernel. Had found text nav buttons I liked, but they're not updated yet, will look for those tomorrow night when I get home. Hard to say much with 5 minutes to go on, but it looks good! Lockscreen looks better, ROM Control looks better.

Ok so the flash came down fine.

Improvements: fast glow mod works GREAT and there are multiple settings that you can choose from to determine how fast you want the glow to be. There is an option for no glow which I didn't try but if anyone who is gonna decide not to flash is interested let me know and I can test it. The transparency navigation bar. mod. What's interesting is that it works in reverse which made the blue keys darker which is GREAT because I always thought the keys were too dark and didn't look ICS blueish. They also added a "big menu button" which I think is awesome but won't use I prefer the invisible menu :D what that is is literally the menu button nearly all Android phones have as a button on their hardware keys. Its just a bunch of lines across, traditional Android symbol for menu (NOT the little GNex one). It's a full-sized button just like the others that you can arrange with them. Also a bit of cosmetic thing but they added icons to the ROM Control menu which look rather nice :D

Features not working: hide the navigation bar on lock screen still doesn't work :/

Great, love it as always. I'll keep fumbling around but that's my preliminary report. Everything seems a-ok. Just need Third eye and THE BLUE SEARCH BAR updated!!

I was talking to BB, but if you are getting good battery life with lte on, what's the secret? My phone is still stock and battery life blows with lte on. VZ speed in Vegas isn't very good anyway so I shut it off to preserve batt.

I do not turn lte on unless I know I'm in an area with it.
