[Verizon] [ROM] AOKP JB-MR1 Milestone 2 [4.2.2] (07.21.13) TORO

Hey guys. I installed this today seamlessly, but after I installed it, my phone has no wireless connections whatsoever. No wifi, data, or even the main tower, so I can't make phone calls. Help?

FIXED: I had a Maguro ROM for my Verizon, and I just switched it to Toro

Whoah! You were able to flash Maguro on a Toro without bricking or getting an install error? Crazy!:confused: I didn't think that was possible. Thankfully you are up and running.
 
BTW, whispers around RootzWiki that build 2 is imminent. Talk of kittens running for its lives. All 9 lives!

There is no official word, that rarely happens. But there have been many merges and whatnot going on lately. That typically points to an imminent release.

Totally not trying keep anyone up at night, just sharing what I know.

May the kittens survive. Build 2 will come soon enough. :)
 
Wish you could set shortcuts in the Navbar ring. Like direct dial shortcuts. I don't use Google Now on my GNex, so I could fill my ring with direct dial contacts. That'd be sweet.

Looks like it's a well known bug by the devs. They've said they'll be release a B3 "shortly" to correct the mistake. Even better (...worse...?) they're looking to start releasing more regular builds...
 
Build 3 imminent. I will wait for it!

OP updated to give you a direct link to AOKP release page. The team doesn't always update the home page. Still don't have build 2 change log to share. Doing what I can. Much thanks to team Kang!

Hmmm loaded up Build 2..... the menu button that used to always be there isn't showing up hardly at all. I saw it pop up once and went to change the third nav bar button back to recents then the small menu button disappeared again....

Hmmm now it seems to be staying on.... wonder what the problem was.

My navigation buttons won't disappear when they should. I have them set to default JB behavior but they were still visible when playing a game or viewing a picture - times when they normally go invisible or hidden.

Probably because B2 has some pretty big bugs. Not show stopping if you work around them, but still a pretty big bug for an official build. Fortunately, the bugs are well known, and I believe already fixed in source, and B3 was promised "shortly" to rectify the problem. I suspect B3 is being pushed out very soon, which is why B2 has been pulled.

It's like when the Apple store goes down to update to new products...not that anyone here would know much about that...
