Looking for an answer. No guarantees. So I'm running into a problem with build 6 (maybe with built 5 too, but I only had that for a couple of days so it didn't come up).
When I play a video with MX Player, it goes to full screen. However whenever I touch the screen the status and navigation bars appear. Trouble is the navigation bar covers the players controls. Not good. Plus it's really annoying.
Is there a setting somewhere that would prevent this from happening? And, on a related note concerning the navigation bar: if it's hidden, the dock icons move down of course. But when you pull the bar up, its buttons are superimposed over the icons (the dock doesn't move back up).
Looking for an answer. No guarantees.
Edit: I installed the app on my N4 and I get the same issues with MX Player. I advise contracting the Dev about it. It would seem that the so hasn't been coded to account for devices which have a Nav bar instead of buttons.
For the other issue, I believe there is a setting in Nova Launcher, Dock as Overlay, if you use Nova that will fix this.
Hope this helps somewhat.

I am sending in my GNex tomorrow for 50 bucks credit. But for old times sake I flashed B6 to it just to see how it faired. For year and a half year old hardware it still flies!
Goodbye GNex! I'll miss you.
Thank you for the kind words. I told my GNex what you said and it wept.Oh wow.... you're a better man that I am. I'm much too clingy. I still have my day one Incredible 1 sitting on my desk. Every once in awhile I still turn it on, update my apps and stuff over WiFi. The Inc was SUCH a great phone.
Some day my G Nex will be next to it.
God speed, Jmar's G Nex. May you make someone else's life happy.

Who's running this ROM as a daily driver?
I read somewhere that a clean flash was highly recommended for this build.Anyone else notice an overheating issue with build 5? I've been running it for awhile and I really like it, it just really gets hot. I just dirty flashed build 6. I'm also running whatever kernel is bundled with it, I haven't changed.
I'm not even done typing this... it did NOT like that! I keep getting AOSP crashes. Never saw that before. <sigh> Wipe and reinstall for me....
I had very few issues with LeanKernel on my GNex. Too bad Imoseyon doesn't dev for the N4. Resorted to Franco's, which isn't bad by any means. Just not LeanKernel.Yeah, it settled down after I clean flashed. I also just installed Lean Kernel to see if it helps with the temp issue.

Man. I'm really bummed about your phone. I wish I had a solo course of action other than flashing a different ROM but that might be the remedy.Boy I am still having a bad overheating issue. Like to the point that it gets uncomfortable to touch and starts to slow down. I don't think it's the screen, becasue it happens on the left side (the camera and flash side). Always when I'm browsing the web.
I might roll back to my last Bugless Beast and see what happens. I'm lovin' AOKP but I'm worried about stressing my phone.
I hate waiting lolMan. I'm really bummed about your phone. I wish I had a solo course of action other than flashing a different ROM but that might be the remedy.
Of course, you could hold off for a couple of hours as JB 4.2.2 Milestone 1 is imminent!
Good luck brother.
