[Verizon] [ROM] Codename Android for JB (updated 10/2)

You can either allow the app to automatically flash the kernel (it can't update the phone while it's running,) or what I do is use it to download the kernel, then manually flash it in recovery mode.
 
Hello Everyone,

How is the new update (3.2.0) to Codename Android Jelly Bean coming along? There is a new stock kernel that comes along with it, I believe it is CNA's own developed kernel. What are your thoughts so far overall? I shall flash later on.

Absolutely LOVING it. The customization options just keep coming and coming. Too many to list... but you can set the nav buttons ANY color you like, you can... you can... well, just flash it, go to settings and explore :D

Kernel-wise, it's still too early to tell how battery life is, but the 1350MHz top slot is nice to have. I have made calls, navigation, camera, texting, searches, music... and still haven't had need for that slot. No idea what I'll use it for, but it's there!
 
Happily donated to his N7 fund. He earned it. I certainly hope I can get 80% of my fellow Gnexers here to donate as well ;)

Now all I need is the ability to set notification text colors in 3.3.0 and I may never flash another ROM again!

Got this loaded up on your recommendation and loving it. Would definitely like to see it on the N7.
 
So, the PM sleep mode under PropModder worked similar to the one in AOKP for me, as in not at all. Lost 3G internet connection completely. Texts and calls worked, but no data. A simple battery pull and cache wipe fixed it.
 
Also, I had Maps randomly accessing my GPS, same as in 3.1
I did a uninstall/reinstall then to fix it - will do that for 3.2 as well.

Dirty flashed over what?

I dirty flashed over the previous version and had to add all my widgets to my screens again. I'm using the Apex beta launcher. I've never seen that before.
 
Yes, much easier than a wipe.

BTW, REALLY enjoying the JB features of Apex, like widgets moving when re-arranging them. :D I just wished it was more like Nova with placeholders to help you re-install a widget after a wipe and restore via TIBU.
